I am considering adjusting the settings for the defensive player. Currently you only get 1 point for sack, int, or fumble recovery. I would like to bump this up to 2 points.

I examined all the close games and found that this adjustment would not effect the results of any games. I won't do this if there are any seriously strong objections. Let me know before Friday.

I posted this on the site as well.

ok with me
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

I am against this because I drafted my D player based on tackles, not on the other shit.

Count me as a big NO.

I am a NO as well. The yahoo draft severely fucked up the draft of defensive players. Anyone who did not make the draft ended up with complete shit. I will only say yes if everybody releases every defensive player and then we re-draft based on waivers.

I also drafted purely based off of solo tackles as a means of points....not that it matters for my team as I am already fucked for the year.

I actually drafted based off of tackles as well (Donnie Edwards).

I dislike drafting individual defensive players to begin with and would hate to have them be a major factor in the league.

From a personal stand point, I don't mind the changes, since it will just add to the points Ray Lewis can get me. As a general principle though I don't like changes to the scoring system after the draft. All of us had a chance to see what would get us points and then had a chance to draft accordingly. People who didn't make it to the draft were at a disadvantage, but there are still a lot of good defensive players available in free agency and waivers.
