Same in Texas.. didn't have it on the Vette I drove there. Only time they bitched at me for it was when I took it in for inspection heh.

My question about front license plates got lost in the shuffle. Are front plates required in California? Someone in California go out into the parking lot and look a tthe front of a few cars and see if they all have plates!

It's required in california. I got a fix-it ticket for not havng one in santa cruz about 3 years ago.

Front plates are required in TX too. Not had one on the 2 Trans Ams I had between 97 and 2003, nor on my RX-8. Looks tooooo ugly. Esp on the 8.

Try a Jeep Wrangler followed by an Acura RSX. Hint: They call those big things on top of the Jeep roll bars for a reason.
