You haven't lived until you've tried to pilot a car through rush hour traffic in Rome - or worse, tried to park there!

What about the circle where the Champs Elysees ends at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris! That's some scary shit!

The French cabbies I dealt with were crazy ass drivers, but oddly jovial while driving. I had one in southern France who sang along to Bridge Over Troubled Water (very loud I might add---the music AND his voice) while careening through the streets of Aix-en_provence. Surreal...

Ummm, well, it's got a population of about 5 million and the road system was designed for a population of a few thousand with horses ;) So you have to be a pretty decent driver to even navigate there, but why I say they're good drivers is they practice good manners when it comes to bottleneck merging and the like.

What is amusing though, is even with it's poor start, they actually manage to have on-ramps that allow you to get up to merging speed... where as in MN there's no chance in most cases..

Europeans need to quit bitching...if you want to see some shitty ass driving go to Lima, Peru...stoplights are nothing more then decorations and pedestrians little more then moving targets...ive seen someone rear end another car putting in some nasty ass dents...and the drivers didnt even stop after, they kept on going like it was nothing

I actually have to disagree with you there. What people need to understand is that no one cares how slow and moderate you want to drive.. When you get on to a ramp, you should have the pedal down to the floor, in which case, for almost all ramps I have seen, even a cadillac from the 30's could probably be up to speed. Now if there is traffic, merging speed is like 3 mph so that shouldnt be a problem reguardless either.
