They have been for the past 300 years. Salem witch trials, ban on gay marriage ring any bells?

What the hell does this have to do with Church and State??
Also don't forget the freedom of speech aspect and this (if it had been real) was a fine example of a group standing up for what they believe.
I have no problem with freedom of speech, I'm just refuting you. I wouldn't have spoken up if it was an isolated incident, I'm just tired of seeing "Oh the Christians are being persecuted!" again. Usually people like you speak up when they try to take out "Under God" from the pledge and such, which don't belong there anyway because we should not be endorsing any relgion/set of them.

I have no problem with your calling someone on bigotry, but just don't try to sound like a whiny martyr all the time pls, kthxbye.

I'm a Christian and I'll be the first person to tell you that more people have been persecuted in the name of Christianity than perhaps any other religion. This is not unique to Chritianity... Insert the religion of your choice where the word Christianity appears and you'll be spot on, but for God's sake, take your fucking blinders off.

It's not the standing up for what they believe that I have a problem with. It's the fact that once again a group of people calling themselves Christians are:
a) trying to force their morality on everyone else
b) using their energy/resources for a complete non-issue like this

I think we can both agree that there are a lot bigger problems in society than cartoon fruit smiling and having fun together. What the fuck ever happened to 'judge not lest ye be judged'?
Further you will notice I didn't make any reference to the packaging itself, but rather to the original poster's continued bigotry and hatred towards another group. Especially considering that Aaeamdar is gay and despises such behaviour by others when directed at his "special interest group"

So kindly STFU until you have the ability to read and comprehend.
In almost all cases of Aaeamdar posting about a Christian group doing this, or doing that, I think he recognizes that the group in question does not represent all Christians nor have I ever seen him state that all Christians are bad. Instead he posts when a Christian group is doing something typically stupid and overbearing. People like this who WASTE TIME ON RIDICULOUS NON-ISSUES make me embarassed to be called a Christian. If these are the types of people you want to be associated with or endorse... IT DOESN'T SURPRISE ME.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

Errrrmmm how is you relate that quote to anti christian sentiment particularly?..
The man wrote a book titled the anti-christ and often refered to himself as the same.

X could have been just fooling around, but judging just from his sig, and nothing else, I assumed he wasn't. I personally don't care either way.

Dreggor, If my posts have irritated you in any way, please feel free to ignore me. Otherwise, shut the fuck up, cupcake.

I don't profess to be a specific faith, and I tend to be interested in different theologies, and their tenants. I apply the ones that fit my morals/values to my life. I'm not fond of church or people who preach, at all.
So much like your opinion you change religions or make claims to suit your goals, pandering to popular opinion. Yeah I respect that.

Christians suck.
From his signature.
Aaeamdar wrote:Only Christians are so stupid and so self-oppressed as to be offended by that candy. But yeah, if for some reason, some group - gays and atheists included - got their panties in a bunch over that candy, I'd be making fun of them too.

Don't blame me because your religion sucks. I'm not creating the stupidity, just pointing it out.
From this thread. Hrmm nowhere do I see him saying "Some Christians suck, or Most Christians are ok but this group is..." Rather he attacks with hatred and bigotted opinion, with an article that is a hoax, then abandons his thread when he is exposed.

My thoughts mirror yours in that there are far more important things going on in the world than candy wrappers, personally don't have a problem with the wrappers either. What I despise is someone having an opinion about persecution, bigotry and hatred being oh so wrong when it is directed at him or his group, then proceeding to exhibit the same stupid character traits when expressing his opinion about another group.

Crayon is getting really fucking dull connecting dots for you all the time Noel.

Cheers

I ever seen him state that all Christians are bad
Some of my best friends are Christian. I don't have anything against Christians, I just don't approve of the Christian lifestyle. I agree that Christian's should be allowed to be in the military, I just don't think they should be allowed to pray. I think all Christians should be able to have loving relationships with each other, I just don't think they should be allowed to marry. I have nothing against Christians, but I don't think they should be teaching my kids. Christians have a mental illness that causes them to be Christian, so I really can't hold it against them. They are sick and should be pittied, loved and helped to become non-Christian. Again, nothing against Christians, but our society must be protected. We can't let people think that being a Christian is ok. Felony prosecutions for those attending church, or actively engaging in Christian activities are needed. Mind you, this is not punishing a person for being Christian. Being a Christian is fine. We are just punishing a person for their behavior when they act on their Christian desires.

Hopefully that will help clarify. ;)

Brilliant!
Aeenananeedar, in that post just managed to entirely discredit the anti-gay rights movement in our country, I would love to hear the president or an anti-gay rights activist respond to that post.
