Questions you'd want to ask Bush and/or Kerry

Post by Brotha »

This could be interesting. If you were standing in front of Bush or Kerry what questions would you want to ask them?

Some off the top of my head.

For Kerry:

1. You said a nation should go to war only when needs to, not when it wants to. Are you saying Bush actually WANTED to go to war with Iraq, that he personally didn't think we NEEDED to? Do you realize how serious of a charge this is?

2. You continuously bring up cuts to eduation and veterans benefits under Bush, but tsn't it true that education spending has sky rocketed and money for veteran's benefits has gone up tremendously? Why do you keep bringing this up all the time if the facts point completely to the other direction?

3. Just about everyday you accuse someone in the Bush campaign of attacking your patriotism. Could you specifically point out even one of these times please?

4. You've attacked just about every rationale for us going to war with Iraq, from WMDs to Iraq's ties to Al Qaeda, yet you still say you'd vote for the war again. How is it possible that you can argue against practically every reason we went to war with Iraq for, and at the same time say you'd still support said war?

I don't really have any questions for Bush, but I'm sure many of you do :P

Kerry:
How do you expect us to beleive you won't have big buisness in your back pocket when your wife is heir to a buisness that makes more annually than the GNP of some countries?

Bush:
You've invaded Iraq. We now have - for all intents and purposes - free oil we can claim for the time being. Cal it a tithe on the Iraqi people for removing Saddam. When will this lower gas prices so I can afford to go to work to pay for the gas I use to get to school?

Apples are a nice conservative, clean, and friendly fruit. Please don't drag them down to your level.

I'm sure you're thinking of magget-infested rotting kumquats.

Christ i'm not even a US citizen or close follower of the US media and even I know that Kerry specifically said he would still vote for giving the president the power to go to war. That subtly different from voting to go to war. Just in case you're still having trouble: He can vote to give the president that power without agreeing with the way the president chooses to excercise that power.

Roll on Nov 3rd so this partisan bullshit can stop stinking up every damn thread on this board.
