(reposting this here to get full exposure)

I'm thinking about going back to PS for a couple month while I wait for the next big games to come out so I'm not so bored. Problem is, while I did buy the expansion pack on CD, I didn't get the game on CD - came as a free DL thing, which was long ago deleted (because I'm a dumbass).

If anyone has the planetside patcher handy that they'd be willing to email a copy of to me, I'd appericate it.

Technically you could do the 30 day free trial they feature on their site -- and redownload the whole thing.

It's not a free download.. it's actually $10 to DL it this time. You get the month free, but not the game itself free.

just use the launcher for any other SOE game and go to properties and change the game name to planetside.

it still sucks

i remember I spent an hour or so reinstalling and patching it after much promised buggy action from Kyoukan.. logged in.. got ready to drop.. saw that EVERY continent and 95% of all bases were NC... Uninstalled, put the install CDs into a shoe box, took a shit in it, and buried it. in a childrens playground

Oh hush Caldano. All the empires have locked the world at one time or another. We spent about 2 months swaying back and forth like that. You just logged in when it was an NC day is all. Its settled down again now, havent seen a world domination for a month or two now.
