Tales of Symphonia
Has anyone heard any good reviews or played this game yet? Since selection is rather lacking for gamecube especially for quality RPGs i was just wonder if this game is worth my time. The grapics are a nice change from what i normally see and i like the idea of it being more real time instead of turn based, but this is only speculation based on the little bit i have read.

Party games have become a big thing with me and my friends now that we get to hang out on the weekends together. Gamecube is the weapon of choice (Zelda Four Swords, Crystal Chronicles and recently Tales of Symphonia). We haven't gotten too far in the game, but i do like taking control of the various characters in battle.
Sadly, that's really my only experience with the game. We got lucky at EB, someone didn't pick up their pre-order and so we got it ahead of the crowd. I can't wait to see more of it. The graphics look kinda like a cross between Final Fantasy and Viewtiful Joe.

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable, let's prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all. - Douglas Adams

I have been playing this game a bit and am having a lot of fun with it.
I like the fact you can switch between who you control. The battle system is fun- plenty of room for you discovering combos and such on your own or even better if you have someone to play with.
The storyline is pretty good, but the dialogue can be kind of corny at times. It is challenging, I have actually had to do a few of the boss fights multiple times to get it right because of all the different tactics you can use in battle.
I am very anti- strategy guide, but if you are like me and like to complete every little sub quest and such in this game.. you almost have to buy it. Because a lot of the stuff only happens if you have the right person in lead of the party at the time, and things like that.
But anyhow, overall rating for the game is 8.5
I definately like it a lot more than any other rpg for the gamecube so far, crystal chronicles got boring after a few days.
