Give me a real Republican.
1) Someone who really believes in smaller, more effiecient government.
2) Someone who isn't such a fucking right-wing nutjob that he needs to court the Bible-thumpers and their ass-backwards agenda.
3) Someone who will provide real leadership to the international community, and not try to bully them.
4) Someone who understands that everything is a balancing act, and that there are very few clear-cut, black and white issues anymore.

Barring that, I want John McCain in 2008. :D

Sherry? She's gone. But Palmer had nothing to do with it.

Remember the scene in Scary Movie 3, where they talk about President Ford? heh.

Actually, the way Arnie is handling Cali I wouldn't mind seeing him in the O-Office. He's even got the sex scandal thing under his belt..

1. Smart

2. Charismatic

3. Willing to stand firm on things he/she believes in, unless overwhelming evidence proves otherwise.

4. Sees the bigger picture, looks long term, not just at what is politically viable.

5. Ability to surround him/herself with people who are experts in their fields so he/she can make educated decisions.

AarrrNoold is a liberal in republican's clothing.

If the constitution didn't specifically prevent it, he might have reasonable chances at a presidential campaign.

I would settle for nothing less than Jean-Luc Picard!!

Except he likes him some spacenookie, and I think you guys have a law that forbids presidents from having sex or something.

and we all know from experience how non-biased you are.

my list would be,

-a good speaker
-is rich enough and disconnected enough that he doesn't and wont abide by the will of large corporations that think of only one thing, increase profit for themselves and the shareholders.
-good at prioritizing
-thinks of the nation first and not the reelection.
-intelligent and a good sense of empathy
-will not let religion have a play in his disicion making but only expert advice, history, intelligence and his own morals.
-and finally like midnyte said, will surround himself with experts in all fields as to make educated informed disicions about anything and everything.

ROFL how can you be UNBIASED in a response to a question worded: "What do YOU want in a president?"

The whole answer is biased from what EACH person wants. If somebody wants a gay midget with a fetish for cowpoop then that is their opinion and to call it "biased" is ridiculous. Although considering the source...

I want a president who is everything the dems say Clinton was, without being what he was, and who is everthing the republicans say Bush is without being everything Bush is.

I want a president who is what people thought Kennedy was, and a lot of what Nixon was without being all Nixon.

Must be a Republican, constantly thinking of ways to harm the American people, and thinks the word sovereign is an Eastern European country.

1 One whos main purpose is to protect and progress in the creation of american freedoms and civil liberties of all kinds
2 idealy one who is an independent, with no connections to either major political party, or a 3rd party for that matter
3 one who is agnostic or has a faith which remains private and anonymous to the american people
4 one with a strong buisness backround, who is able to manage, and stregthen the economy
5 One who would never send america to war becouse he wants to, only when he has to
6 One who doesnt rely on support from corperations or other lobbyist groups, to highly influence his/her decisions
7 Leaves "morallity" and "compassion" to the american people, and doesnt try to opress them with his/her own belifs
8 this will sound bad but he/she should be a minority, come the fuck on almost 50 white christian men in a row!

besides #1, you HONESTLY want Bush re-elected with those priorities (great priorites btw, but that sure as hell aint Bush)
