NHL 2005 (PC)

Is anyone going to be getting this game?

Lynks and I play the NHL2005 (ea sports) series often enough via direct IP.

Thought maybe we could setup a few direct IP games with more people. Could make for interesting games.

Lemme know..

Or currently have NHL 2004.... Same scenerios

So does that mean they'll possibly have a lock out and only allow you to play 8 games until you've negotiated a deal with the NHLPA?

How is it? Worth the money? I like hockey games in general, but haven't played one since NHL 2003.

edit: Actually, it was probably more like NHL 2001 since I've played a hockey game.

I have not played NHL 2005 yet. When you master NHL 2004 you can make some pretty damn nice plays.

The player finally responds basicly the way you want. If you want to make a pass against the boards to your other teammate.... you can! You wanna take a hard slap shot around your net so it follows the boards so you can dump the puck... you can!

NHL 2005 has some neat features. Gonna let you know more once I played it.

Dups forgot to mention that NHL2004 is the worse in the line. Once you finish a season, you can't continue to the next, unless you are in that stupid Dynasty mode. Did they ever fuck up this one. No All-star game either! No calendar, unless you download an Add-on not from EA sports. I think they had junior programmers working on this one. 2005 better be like 2003.
