Electoral College Votes predicted, state by state map.

Kerry 307
Bush 231

http://www.electoral-vote.com/

Site is dynamic, you might want to save a link and refer as we get closer to election. Not looking real good for my side at this time.

I found that site at this site...

http://politicalpuzzle.org/

Which is a pretty well balanced blend of opinion.

Still the GOP convention to go and a bag full of scare tactics. That is if the vote isn't delayed due to perceived threats from the intelligence community. Yea, it's very conspiracy theory of me, but sadly not really far fetched :(

Pretty good site, but I pretty much throw out ARG or Quinn polls there numbers are always +5 to kerry in battleground states for months(maybe they do national adults or registered voters instead of the more accurate likely voters..Dont Know??)....and if you do that Florida and Ohio are on most the polls barely Bush..basically toss ups. doesnt matter atm still to early.

I mainly look at:
http://gallup.com/
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/
http://www.davidwissing.com/bushkerrystate2004.php
Zogby's numbers are also normally close atleast from previous elections.[/url]

Yes it is :) I wish more people would be no matter how they vote. It is kind of sad how a lot of people simply don't seem to care one way or another. The place I live at now is really funny, they serve a free continental breakfast to anyone who wants it every morning and people sit around and talk etc before heading to work. It's really nice to sit down and discuss things and see that more and more of them actually voice an opinion.

Florida could be won by Bush as soon as this huricane passes through. It will all depend on his response time for getting them Aid. His father delayed and Clinton nailed him on it.

Good call on this Bubba.

It surely cannot hurt when the Gov. of Florida can pick up the phone and call the President of the USA and say, "Look Bro, we need some help down here! ASAP!"

Ohio went to slightly Kerry and New Jersey went down a point to go into the weak Kerry column.

So now it shows:
327 Kerry
211 Bush

I'm obviously a partisan.

I really find it hard to fathom that some people haven't made up their minds. Of course it boggles the imagination that some people don't even pay attention until the final few weeks before an election.

The debates always have a large impact, had Gore not talked out his ass with his made up stories he would have won the election easily, he made himself look like an idiot

I know a great deal of people personally who could give a shit less about elections and politics in general. Myself included. It's pretty funny that it took Bush to get a lot of them (and me) interested in this stuff, heh.

The problem is most people dont like Bush. Then again most people dont like/know Kerry. When i talk to a lot of people i hear, well KErry sounds like an Idiot, but i cant stand Bush...this election sucks ass i dont know what im going to do
It does look like about a 70% chance Kerry will win imo, but something can always happen

You gotta love Kerry... he has to be anti-Bush on everything... even when it makes no sense whatsoever.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=s ... l_pr/kerry
Kerry Decries Bush Troop Withdrawal Plan
1 week ago Kerry was saying he'd bring 40,000 troops home from Iraq. Bush says he will bring home 70,000 from Europe and Korea and now Kerry says it's not the right time.

WTF?

Then the epiphany... Kerry don't give a crap about US troops, he is simply whining because Germany would miss that $Billion or two we spend there on our troops.

I propose a new slogan for the Kerry campaign...

Kerry, the best president Europe can buy!

Edit-
as of 8/18

Kerry is against it because removing troops from South Korea is a bad fucking idea.

Yeah, that's a terrible fucking idea.

And while all politicians are pretty much whores to some degree, I'd much rather we were in the pocket of various allied countries (well... former allies) around the world than a fucking provider of oil and gas products and services.

Just being Devil's Advocate, I don't necessarily even agree that this move is motivated by money.

Pulling troops out of South Korea makes no sense at all. Shutting down all bases in Europe would be a major mistake as well.

And btw.. although the bases bring money to the local comunities there, the US gets quite a bit of kick-bak through military purchase deals as well.

I'm from a suburb in Columbus, Ohio where there are a ton of Bush supporters. After it was clear that Kerry would receive the Democrat's nod for the presidency, people began putting up signs that read "UA for Kerry" (UA being my suburb). The Bush supporters were so outraged by these signs that they created a subversive effort to destroy the signs. Only they didn't have the chutzpah do it themselves so they sent out their children instead.

It was really pretty sad and funny at the same time.

We pay Germany for those bases, so they get that money plus all the money the military and their families spend there. I would hurt them a good bit if we did pull our troops out.
They aren't really needed there any way, they haven't been needed there for a long time.

heh, if there is a "Bush push" i can see this being a repeat of 2000 in some cases
Bush wins the popular vote, but Kerry wins the college, and the republicans cant do jack shit about it being that it happened four years ago

The way its looking, Kerry is gonna kick some major ass on the College. If he can keep florida and ohio, Bush is FUCKED...his only "shoe in" states are basically texas and some backwater southern/northern plain hick states

According to the linked site at the top of this thread (which I have zero confidence in), Bush is already making a comeback.

Kerry 286 Bush 233

A little "help" from his brother Jeb in Florida and he's looking good already even before any world events or the Republican convention.

In a perfect world, Bush would win the Electoral College by a really comfortable margin but LOSE the State of Florida by a wide margin to Kerry.

Otherwise the libs will cry about Florida for another 4 years. If the vote in Florida is close like its predicted then you know the whining and shit won't end for years.

You guys will be whining though, because you forgot Kerry is gonna beat Bush's ass in this election, from about 1 week ago to the next 2-3 weeks are Bush's last chances, and I expect 0 bounce from his convention, the entire country already knows his bullshit. Unless he gets a good 6-7 point lead by early sept, he is compleatly fucked, he will only continue to go downhill from there

You think the President of the US should be impeached because of a act he engaged in during his personal life, an act that was none of the publics business and your calling someone else dense?

Its none of my business if GW cheats on his wife, and even if we did have the opportunity to impeach him for lieing about a BJ or 178 affairs I would be against it, i would vote to impeach him over lies concerning Iraq but what a man does in his private life is none of my fucking business

Actually, I'm not one of those. My bone to pick with Clinton was his protesting against the Vietnam war. While I find his BJ disrespectful to the office, I don't think he should have been impeached for that. I do understand the need for impeachment based on lieing under oath though. It's pretty bad that our leader lied under oath. Granted it was over BS he shouldn't have been in court for anyway, but that's besides the point.
