"You know what I hate about the elves? Its the smell...."

I could only think of Hugo as Agent Smith, even when he played Elrond. However after seeing the 3rd Matrix film, in which all plot lines where completely destroyed, my mind re-ajusted and I can now see him as both... Prucilla Queen of the Desert however, still takes getting used to.
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

Honestly, I don't think he's that great of an actor. Watching him in LoTR, he looks (facial expressions) exactly like he did in Matrix. A good actor can change enough that you can see them in another role. Another person that's just like this is the guy from Fast & Furious / Timeline.

Eh? Tom Cruise has the same stupid look on his face that he had in Risky Business. You don't have to be a facial contortionist. That said, I haven't seen anything out of Hugo that warrants placing him in the elite actor catagory.

When I first saw Matrix, I thought 'Hey it's that transvestite from Priscilla, Queen of the Desert!'.

This seriously should be an option.

You used to be able to modify polls but looks it looks like that option is gone.

Vote for the Sheepdog if you would have voted for Priscilla, Queen of the Desert!

Smith, every time.
I kept waiting for him to say, "Mr Frodo, welcome back. We missed you."

I voted for Agent Smith, but really what I think of whenever I see Hugo Weaving is a friend of mine who looks a lot like him and gets told such about twice a week.

There is a music video for "I love the Nightlife" with scenes from this movie. They play it every so often on VH1 Classics, it's truly that CLASSIC :) This is a great movie but as I've seen the Matrix many more times I usually think of it.
