Does he even matter?

What do you think about the world?

Would John Kerry exposed as being a war criminal instead of a war hero change your vote?

It would change my vote

Changes nothing - my opinion of him nor my vote

I would still vote the same

You know, he did own up to what he did though. At least he admitted it wasn't right, and took responsibility for it instead of trying to shove it under the rug.

I don't hear that from the other side. No "whoops, there were no WMDs, sorry this has been a terrible tragedy."

The last movie I saw was Troy a few months ago. Really it was just a hypothetical. The poll shows the vast majority of kerry supporters on this board don't support the man - they oppose Bush (or are already voting for Bush and not changing from that).

What's the Bush is a war criminal stuff you like to toss out there? Why do you hate the guy so much anyway? Sure you may disagree with him but geez. Calling him a war criminal. Calling him a liar. Really just nothing more than hate speech. Why so much anger? If any of it was in the least credible then why aren't there votes for impeachment being called for? Why isn't the UN demanding he be put on trial for these heinous acts? Honestly. Get over yourselves.

How can you step so far beyond the bounds of simple disagreement on policy to unbridled, frothing-at-the-mouth hate for a guy that's just doing what he thinks is right for his country. Is it because your perspective has no basis in reality or what? If you can't win with history and logic then you have nothing to stand on besides your emotion?

Hell even I get attacked now just for making a poll because I'm curious? News flash - someone that disagrees with you is not unpatriotic. But many of the things said on this board are...

Go see the Manchurian Candidate Rekaar. and you'll see where I was getting at with seeing this movie and the poll.

I believe that you were stupid enough to make this poll without having help from this movie - but seriously - after the first few scenes of this movie, I was thinking - Wow - did Rekaar. see this movie then make a poll?

I was wrong, it was just coincidence that 2 days after this movie came out - you decided to make a retarded poll that directly related to this movie.

My problem is with either side making it a topic to begin with. It doesn't matter. Bush and Clinton both suck when it comes to military service and it didn't stop them from being elected. Noone cares.

What this does do is waste precious time for Kerry supporters arguing it thinking it will help the election. It's a great diversionary tactic. Bush chose to pull some strings to get out of going to vietnam. Kerry went and managed to go home in three months by pressing for medals that would get him home while others stayed with those same medals. Great. Grats to both for getting out of most of the war. Everyone seems to agree that the Vietnam war was a mistake and designed to make money.

I respect the people that served in the vietnam war and understand the reasons some had reservations about that particular war.

Bottom line. It's not a factor although the time wasted talking about it helps Bush.
