It is my opinion that anything that is not directly related to:
Public Safety (military/prison systems)
Business
Education
internal Government workings/Taxes
Should not be touched by legislature.
I mean come on. How much does the policing/court fees for cases like that cost the government? Probably a lot, and it could probably be put to much better uses.
I suppose you could say that this falls under public safety, but I haven't seen anyone clubbed to death with a 15" turbo dildo recently...
