Jboots? Needed that last shard for VT key? Racking up AA points? Who knows? Yet those people who run the cafe didn't kick out that human stinkbomb? (Yes I know people who play that don't shower for days) Too bad he went out like Elvis

He was probably playing Lineage. It's rather popular in South Korea.

Yea, my bet is on Lineage

Hm...if he was playing EQ though...I dunno what could keep him on for so long...
Funny though, most Lineage related deaths in Korea are also Gang Violence related ><

Maybe he was waiting for a GM response on EQ?

If someone would pay my bills, feed me, ect... I would love to try and stay up 86 hours straight. I just think it would be fun. When I was in high school, I made it to 56 hours believe it or not. I was working at McDonald's (opening and closing due to powers beyond my control), my parents were out of town, and I was balancing 2 relationships at once. When I finally crashed, I think I slept for 24 hours straight without waking up and felt fantastic.

The only odd effects were, and I'm not kidding, random hard-ons. It's fucked up, but I swear it's the truth. These weren't just your average boners either, these were rock-hard "poke holes in steel" type boners that wouldn't go away and even got kinda painful. I wasnt horny or anything either. I remeber one time imparticular at work, I had to fake a stomach ache and sit in the break room until my hard-on went away. Being well past puberty, I can only imagine it was a weird side-effect from no sleep.

Pretty cool, eh?

I've done 78 hours before... I'm an insomniac. At the end of that, I ended up drinking half a bottle of scotch and 3 advil. I slept for about 6 hours. I was hallucinating and all kinds of shit. It wasnt fun. After sleeping for only 6 hours, I then went and sat in my pool and ended up falling to sleep in the sun. Insomnia is not fun >_<

48 hours is probably the max I've subjected my body to.

Possible lack of sleep effects in EQ:

12 hours - Irritable
18 hours - start missing heals or train your group.
24 hours - lose the ability to cyber
30 hours - death by cannibilization a common occurance
36 hours - regain the ability to cyber but forget what wopenis/mangina means
48 hours - after your marathon XP session you find that you've actually lost a level.
50+ hours - Time for work.

Longest session was about 12 hours. It ended after Janx helped me kill Meldrath (I think that's the name) and got my ivy tunic. I realized the sun was setting and I'd yet to bathe, and logged off shortly after. I had a headache for the rest of the night.

Can't imagine spending any more time than that, let alone even doing that again.

I don't think I played EQ once during my insomniatic state... That was just pure non-sleeping. And no, I was trying to sleep, it just wouldn't happen.

Sounds about my experience. Only the CR just lasted 12 hours till CT came to the rescue (believe it or not :)). Other than that, I personally can't sit at the computer for more than 5 hours. I just get tired of it :) hehe.

Going 2 days without sleep is pretty much the norm for me...being an aussie my raid times suck major ass which means if I wanna raid I get up really really early......in most cases I cannot sleep so I end up staying up then playing through heading off to work and coming back home and cycle begins again........that and being married......etc etc.......man time zones suck...

I think one week I survived 4 days with 45 mins of sleep a day which I got on the train to work ............I think I sacked someone that week to...poor bastard...
