That peice was from the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. It's a weeklong event with a ton of international comedic talent and showcases of performers like the one above.

I think this one was from last year's festival by the look of the set.

i was amazed until i realized its setup

like, the balls are actually triggering the notes, but if you notice, where hte balls bounce has no effect on what note is played(i noticed this halfway through)

he preprogrammed the note sequences in whatever is under the keyboard, then any hit on the surface triggers the note in sequencial order(this is real common in triggering sounds from electronic drum sets)

just watch when he his OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of same notes in a row or anything like that, where the bounces land dont correspond to what should be happening

dont get me wrong, its impressive, but not as impressive as i had originally thought
