GPS Maps

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

GPS Maps

Post by Siji »

Anyone know an inexpensive place to find map discs? Specifically I'm looking for City Select or Topo US discs (5.0 or 6.0) for Garmin GPS's. The 76cs specifically.

eBay isn't any cheaper than from any normal store. Haven't had luck finding them online and don't know anyone that has them for.. backup purposes.

It's surprising what they charge for those damn things. Not to mention the extra lock codes on top of that.

Note the part where I mentioned eBay. Which would generally be a place of currency exchange. Also note I said inexpensive, not free. My hope however, was that someone here may know of a place where such CDs are sold at a discount. My reason for thinking as such is the previous, yet somewhat recent, thread(s) about GPS information by someone else - generally implying that other people here just might also own a GPS and have done such a search for said map discs and found something I have not.

mmmk?

So what you're saying is you had no intention of buying it!
