NCAA 2005 for Xbox

Post by Sabek »

Did anyone else pickup NCAA 2005 yet?
I got it and am really liking it, but the passing game seems insanely hard.
I won a game the other night 5 to 0 and my QB was 0 for 14 passing. :/

Just wondering if anyone else was having the same success.

The passing game has been killed, blocking was made WAY too easy. I find 90+ rated QBs having a hard time completing half of my passes. Besides that I'm having a blast playing. The home field advantage is simply awesome though I would have liked it if the noise and shaking controller carried on after the snap for it to actually hurt me.

Is anyone able to connect online? It keeps saying check your connection but I think its EA's fault and not mine. Anybody else?

I upped receiver hands a notch last night and then went into practice mode and drilled over and over on the passing game.
It got a bit better when I started to get a better feel for when to do a bullet and when to do a touch pass.
Also something I noticed in the manual was that if you are moving the stick when you throw the ball the QB will take that as a cue to lead the receiver in that direction. Once I started planting my feet before throws I started getting a bit more success.

It could also be the team you're playing with. Drop those loser Buckeyes and I'm sure you'll have more success with the Maize and Blue!

I was playing a rivalry game last night and both Michigan and OSU were very tough.
Should be an interesting year this year. :)

Theres a glitch in online play **BEWARE**

I just finished beating this guy and right before the game ended he disconnected, giving BOTH of us a loss. I also checked out his other losses, he disconnected from every game he was losing. Before you play someone be sure to check their career.

I am pissed

Online play is a joke, 0-4 when I should be 2-2 because of these fucking 12 year olds can't take a loss.
