One of my favorite movies I've seen in a long time. Just an enjoyable movie on so many accounts.

Wasn't bad.

Sorta freaky that it's inspired by real life though. I couldn't imagine living in an airport.

As of the summer of 2004, Nasseri is still living in the airport. He does not lack for money — Dreamworks paid him a rumored $250,000 for the rights to his story.

Don't get me wrong, Zeta-Jones character had some issues (and not her imperfections which is what I liked about it) and Hanks' handy skills were never really given a background, but it was a fun flick to see. Everyone was smiling when they left and that's pretty hard to do with a movie that doesn't give a perfect, happily ever after, ending.

Like Aev, I just really enjoyed the movie. People could say it's a "renter", but it's definitely worth seeing one way or another.

My review stands!

Some of the sub stories just didn't really do it for me. In particular the food cart guy and the immigration women (or whatever she was). She never met him other than through the questions he had Tom Hanks' character ask (forgot his name) her. So he sends her a ring and they're married in the next shot? Not buying it, even if it is a movie!

Yeah I had some doubts about that. But it wasn't a big part of the movie so I let it slide. Still, either this or Anchorman was my favorite movie of the year so far.
