Just got back from seeing this. This was awesome. I love Puss 'n Boots!! Definitely a must buy when it comes to DVD.

News story today indicated that Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas have committed to doing 2 more Shrek movies! YAY!

Yeah, this was great, and like everyone else i liked puss'n' boots. He kind of reminded me of the little talking dog from the movie labrynth.

Thank God for talking animals - especially smart-assed ones.

That being said, I still think the original was better. I thought there was a lot of unnecessary singing and dancing in this (come on...Livin' la vida loca? *groan*).

Not really sure it was better than the first one.. Just.. Different. The first 30 minutes of domestic squabbles was pretty boring but once Fiona and Shrek weren't together onscreen the movie got 10 times better.

Good but not as good as the first IMO.
I also have a distaste for movies set in (faux) hollywood settings. Too self-referential and lazy.
