I believe in supporting those men and women who defend our nation and support the actions of our government (whether I agree with the government's decision or not!).

However, this forum is for the discussion of current events. It seems inappropriate to use this forum as a showcase for items that are not open to discussion.

I completely understand Krim. No offense taken. I, however, do look at both sides. I just don't see anything positive coming from the Democrats. If they played less partisan politics I would have more respect for them. Republicans can play partisan ball as well, don't get me wrong.

Point is Bush(Republican) is in office. The Democrats took heat from political pundits, when they lost bad again in 2000, that their kind of level headed politics just wasn't cutting it. Over the last 4 years they have become more cuthroat and partisan about everything hey do and say it just sucks.

If they were so beligerant in their ridiculous notions all the time they would get a lot more playtime in the Republican/conservative voters realm. But, I guess they feel the only way to reassume power is to draw definitive lines. So both parties will cut eachothers throats in the press hourly clearly divided this country further and further. It's a fucking shame. I want the whole party system gone now. I want people to run on their own beliefs and passions and creative thinking not what a party tells them they will be voting for and running on. But, alas, tis nothing more than a dream.
