SCTV is on the air! (well on DVD anyway)

The first season of SCTV (when they moved to NBC and a 90 minute format, it had been on before that) is out on DVD now, picked it up this last weekend. Not too far into it yet but good to see some of the old skits.
No nation was ever ruined by trade.

Man, I grew up watching SCTV. So many good things to say about it, but the one that always stuck in my mind was when they did this big 2001: A Space Odyssey spoof. It stretched over at least 2 episodes. Was genius!
