Those look awesome. I was thinking on how they could improve the game overall. Does anyone really use those points or cards in the game? I say get rid of that shit. C'mon, Lambeau Field hasn't been below 100% attendance in decades(owner mode).
Here is what I would like to see.
Highlights of the game played at the half and end of the game.
How about a Sports News thing that plays at the end of the week that brings up highlights of that week and updates the news about trades or injuries.
How about showing some tailgating in the pregame show?
I went out to the EA Sports website looking for a place where I could email in suggestions but it seems that they don't really care what we think. There is no "Contact Us" kind of thing on any of their sites, even if you are an EA member.
Holy shit, I say in 2 or 3 years games will be to the point that it starts to become hard to tell the difference between a game and a movie. 4 or 5 years, and they will be completely realistic (looks that is, movements and other things like that may not be completely perfect then).
EA won't go online with the XBox for another 2 years at least. They are in a dispute with Microsoft at the moment over control of the servers. EA doesn't believe that Microsoft should have complete control over the games. *shrugs* Own all 3 systems that's how I solved my gaming delima (sp?)

"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." Galileo Galilei
The amusing thing about this, is that is it essentaily the same game. New players, yeah, but it's the *same game over and over again* that has not changed in decades.
Because of that, a very Large number of graphical advances come from these type of games, because they simply have nothing else to improve. You will see photorealistic graphics in a football game before we see it in any other medium..
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.
I'm torn on whether or not to get the PS2 game or the PC game. If I get the PC game I will really have no use for my PS2. The PC version would allow me to play online with little problem and update player rosters. The thing I hate about Madden is that it comes out so early that final roster choices still haven't been made yet. Hell it comes out before preseason really even starts. If I get the PS2 version that means I can play it on my 36" screen tv instead of the 19" monitor I have. I'd have to buy another controller if I wanted to play it on the PC. Sigh.

EA has announced officially that they WILL be putting both NCAA Football 2005 and Madden NFL Football 2005 online with XBOX Live
I pre-ordered the ESPN version for PS2 for $20 last weekend
The only thing I'm worried about is that it might not be as visually impressive, or maybe may just not perform well on the PS2. Apparently, earlier years of the ESPN game were designed for the PS2 and ported to XBox, but this year's was designed for the XBox (which is the better gaming engine) and ported to the PS2.
With all the new features though, and the $20 pricetag, I'm willing to give it a shot.

That's a pisser...especially that last clip of the fan all alone. i know it's all just filler that'll get boring after about 20 full games, but it's still funny stuff. There's a shitload of vids there, flip through them, pretty snazzy
