Charged with 2 felonies? I mean, come on.. I guess I can see it from both sides but those charges are BS.

If the cops genuinely thought there was a bomb at the location they responded very slowly...

A judge will in all likelyhood throw the Felony charges out if they get that far...Odds on the DA not pressing those charges...

Clearly an attempt to chill 1st amendment rights...

The misdemeanor is kinda funny. "Sir I didnt cause a scene. The cops showing up caused the disturbance."

Is it normal procedure to approach someone you suspect may be hooked up to a bomb and ask them to leave tell them to get down?

LOL, good for him. He wanted to anger and shock people. Well, he did.
"Mr. Previtera should know better. He’s a young adult educated at Boston College from a wealthy suburb. I’m sure he knows wires attached to his fingers, running to a milk crate, would arouse suspicion outside a military recruiters’ office [when he’s] dressed in prisoner’s garb. If he has any questions as to why people think he may’ve had a bomb, then he needs to maybe go back to Boston College to brush up on his public policy. Or at least common sense, but they can’t really teach that there."
Makes sense.

Oh come on...

The guy had friends there to clearly spell out he did not have a bomb. He never once declared he had a bomb. Now, I can understand a charge of disturbing the peace, laughable as that sounds during this time in America. Felony charges though?

I think not.

What would amuse me more than anything else is if whomever phoned the police saying this guy had a bomb (Because someone probably did) gets charged with that first felony they are throwing at Previtera.

Yeah, that became reality when they passed the Patriot Act.
