21 grams

Post by Rivera Bladestrike »

This movie, starring Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Naomi Watts, fantastic. I went and saw this movie with some friends, it was amazing. It was directed very well, and one of those movies that are cup up, so the basic storyline goes along, but you get glimpses of other times more than often. The movie is very sad, but it all pulls together amazingly well. Its tough to find in the theatres still, I had to drive 20 minutes to get to the theatre with three other theatres within that distance not playing it.

See it if you can, I give it a 9/10..

Just saw this myself, was fantastic. I thought Penn was better in this than in Mystic River honestly, but he was great in both. Watts gives a great performance as well. And the Jesus truck is hilarious!

Yes, very very good movie. You should see Amores Perros, its a spanish flick by the same director. It's even better than 21 grams.

Yeah my friend, the movie genius, kept saying how the previous movie was even better. I doubt I'll see it, I never seem to take to movies with subtitles.

I rented this movie last night. No one in the movie is really a hero, or someone to really root for. The timeline of the movie threw me for a loop at times and I would spend several seconds of a new scene wondering where exactly in the story we were.

Note to self: do not smoke pot when watching a drama/thriller that does not follow a linear storyline. :?
