Possibly another Freddy Vs. Jason ending.
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

I hope itll be better than FvJ. This atleast has comic background, though Im not sure if it's based on the comics or not.

Recognize the black actor from Resident Evil? Same director too.

The very notion of this movie screams MARKETING, not 'THE Movie of The Year'.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

It better not.
Several years ago, they proposed this idea to 20th Century Fox, complete with script and everything. The script never got greenlit, but it WAS turned into a novel which I have around somewhere, will dig out the name.

If you read the book, it starts out with a simple colony having a slight problem - an unidentified lifeform (read: facehugger) is found dead along with some aling (cow type creatures). They take the critter back, examine it.. at the same time, a derilict ship is discovered (guess who).

Short time later, all hell breaks loose. The aliens infect the cattle-things, the predators come in for their yearly entertainment, and hilarity does not ensue.

I thought that story makes a better tale than this one, but we shall see.

But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

The last time I heard about this combo I almost shelled out $300 for an atari jaguar 64.

As far as I'm concerned, the trailer could have nothing but a 30 second clip of a captive danny glover being forced to pole dance nude inside a predator ship to the tune of "sex and candy" by marcy playground and I would still guarantee they'd get my $8.50 opening night.

SAME! ON BOTH ACCOUNTS! :D

We were a gang here in Sthlm that really considered buying the Atari Jaguar 64 when we heard that the game Aliens VS Predator was going to be on it!

Looked like a pretty cool idea for a movie...except for the Alien and the Predator.

I'd much rather see a movie about a pyramid in Antarctica and how that would effect what we think we know about human and planetary evolution without Alien and Predator. And I don't know why moviemakers think the idea of archaelogists carrying assault rifles is believable.

I think we're in for quite a few surprise discoveries from Antarctica with the ongoing research and deep core samples revealing that Antarctica recently, relatively speaking, had a climate that resembled Europes present day climate.

There are lots of theories on why but the facts are that drilling 100's of feet deep into the ice in Antarctica has revealed instantly frozen plant life that didn't have time to die before being frozen.

Graham Handcock's book, Fingerprints of the Gods is an excellent source of information and starting point for learning about ancient civilizations. While his conlusions may or may not be way off, the data in the book and follow up books is extremely thought provoking.
