My brother's started his own online comic strip.
You can take a look at it at http://www.brainslug.com

I don't get the point yet. Usually comics try to serve one of two purposes -- tell a story, or be funny (or both, like wtfcomics).

I've failed to see either.

If he's got a different point for the comics, that's fine.

Just wondering where he was going with it.

The drawings are good. I'll have to give him that.

A daily VV comic strip can only be just around the corner. Who wants to draw it? Rotating writers.

From what I've been told this is mostly to put down some ideas that he's had and needed to unload =)

Also, he told me that this was a continuing storyline so it will build =)

I agree with Llaffer. The drawings are good, but the content isn't all that funny. Granted, it's new, and you have to start somewhere...it's just not that comical. (yet?)

Hope he finds his "zone".

That's pretty good.

I think you should all poke Lynks with a stick for him to scan his Mr. Disater comic strips he made a looong time ago.

Just wanted to post a heads up that the format of the strip has changed and that the artist has refined some stuff based on some of the feedback he's gotten.

Can still find it at http://www.brainslug.com

I just noticed this. I just recently found those comics in my mom's basement. I still get a chuckle when I read them.
