Idea for new forum.

Post by Asheran Mojomaster »

Well, since we have Kwon's forum where he can post about whatever he wants about fighting and all that shit he is into, heres an idea for another one.

A forum dedicated to workouts \ weight lifting \ running \ other atheletic stuff similiar to that, along with different types of supplements and foods that help with building muscle. In the past year I have started to really get into this, and would like to see a place on here to specifically talk about stuff like this (not like on Kwons where only he can start topics).

I'm only 5'10'' 140, but its all muscle. 6% body fat. Earlier this year I was benching like 120lbs or so, up to 160 now, and working hard to get it up (yeah I know benching isnt a good basis for how fit you are, but everyone seems to think it is, so I am tryin to get it up as high as I can while I work on other stuff).

I'm 6'2" 185 with about 35% body fat. I can make it from my car to my office at work without breathing heavy. I can power around the HUGE store Fry's Electronics, hitting all major sections including TVs, Computers, DVD and Software sections, all on my lunch break and still make it to McDonalds to pick up a Quarter Pounder meal before heading back to work. Primary foods that enable me to do this several days a week are Triple Chocolate Thunder ice cream, whipped cream and mixing up my fast food stops to include Del Taco and Arbys.

I haven't had a piece of fruit in over a year. I haven't had vegetables except for whatever you get when you say, "Ham and Cheese with everything" at the Sub Factory. I salt everything and use more butter and sour cream portions than the actual potato I put them on.

Every health check up I get reveals low blood pressure, low cholesterol and all health stats are well within the good range.

Save your money and don't buy supplements!

Opening up Kwons would work. Really would just like some place like that to ask about this stuff.

i've lost 18lbs since my daughter was born.

my secret is decreasing the amount of sleep you get by 25% and cutting down to 2 meals a day, and being happy you got your shoes tied.

I'm in the same boat you're in. A few years ago I was really into this, working out, taking suppliments. I ate, ate, ate, worked out, worked out, worked out....but gaining weight was TOUGH. I went from 135 when I graduated HS to 170, and 10% body fat...I could bench 2 plates @ 6-8 reps.

Then I got married. Now I'm 175...and I don't even want to know what my body fat is!!

Bingo. Key to male weightloss is in this very post.

In addition Ash, assume most supplements that aren't multi-vitamins cause cancer and leave it at that. Otherwise, give other's access to start threads in Kwon's fantasy forum of "how to dislocate joints and why I'm a better person for it".

Give it 10 more years, 175 will sound emaciated-like

I recently started training a little with an old friend. (Niding in Valhall if anyone remember him)
We both thought we were getting fat and weak after to many years playing on line-games.
Atm I'm 80 kilos and 1,77 meters.
My first goal is when I stand straight and looking down I'm going to see my toes.
My next goal is to see my penix.

I need a forum to discuss this!

Yeah, thats what I'm kinda trying to do, I'm trying to push my body weight up while my bench goes up too. Right now 20lbs over my body weight, as long as I can hold that and move my body weight up as well, I'll be doing good.
