Diablo 2 druid

Post by Xzion »

I was gonna make a druid on diablo and do mainly shapeshifting (if thats any good?)

Was wondering if anyone knew the best skills to put my points in as a shapeshifting druid, prolly on the wearwolf line if thats the best one, because i have figured out abilitys that look good usually suck and vice versa.

Warewolf (20)
Lycanthropy (20)
Feral Rage (20)
Fury (20)
Oak Sage (20)

That's the way I went with my 87 Druid back when I played. Could solo anywhere and only had slight issues with Hell difficulty Mephisto because of the high number of nameds and those with the damage return or lightning imbued skills.

I messed around with a werebear a bit (only to level 35ish though). It was fun mostly, although since he didn't have much in the way of damaging multiple opponents clearing out lots of mobs could take a while. On the other hand, he was a good tank, did a lot of damage to whatever he hit, and shockwave is a great skill.

For an informative and funny guide about D2 werewolves and werebears I recommend http://www.theamazonbasin.com/d2/iguides/were_guide.php

All you ever need to know about a werebear....

Diabloii.net

Tons of guides there and lots of great information post 1.10.

Go to the druid forum, and look for guides.

I don't really play anymore and i'm sure I have plenty of stuff you could use.

Let me know a time / place you would like to hook up and we can work out something.

I can usually log on on the weekends, and in the evenings after 7pm est.
