Have you heard of anyone getting a six pack of folks together, re-rolling new characters and going back through the original content?

I wonder if that would be fun.

Have an Iksar brigade and go through the Kunark newbee zones that most of us never visited etc.

Yup, plenty of people do it, i tried it, but I really didn't find it very fun, things are never as rosy as they were the first time, you will never get that true newbie feeling back.

Would only work if you limited yourself to pre-kunark items and didn't get the urge to go bazaar shopping. That might be fun.

Did this on the test server so there was very little in the way of economy and practically zero twinking. It was a lot of fun as we all played "unfamiliar" classes and did newer zones that weren't available when we levelled up first time around.
The test server population was small and friendly. Server instability wasn't much of a problem most of the time.

Did it on Sullon Zek, was an interesting experience. You were running from old content thinking what your main could do to these mobs. Also running from PK griefers.

Reminds me of my first character leveling experience(still my main to this day) up til 45 I grouped with the same group of folks, and only those folks up til then. After that they all ran elsewhere.

While nothing compares to the true newbie feeling, I've had the most fun going to pvp servers and playing around there with a new char every once in a while.

For old original release content, Unrest > *

Loved that place.. even after the expansions came out, it was a favorite place to power level.

"/g Go pull the entire house.."
"/g INC Unrest!"

Of course, before the upgrade, it was fun to do the same with Cazic. Never did care for it after it was changed. :(
