Fight Night 2004 is an excellent game, let alone the best boxing game ever. The controls are truly incredible. You can call EA whatever you want to but they have really tapped into the potential of dual analogs better than any company. Hooked me in the more than any boxing title since 4d-Boxing back in the day

This the one where you use the two analog joysticks on the controller to control each arm, aye? Ive heard that it is amazingly "ground-breaking" and the best boxing game ever made. Id buy that if I owned any console =) Getting tired of console-only games. Wish they just made every game for all platforms =), then of course some would go out of business I guess?

Hopefully, they took care to make sure there aren't any ghey unblockable supa combos.

I've been addicted to this game for the past week or so...what I can't find out is how to unlock more taunts or signature punches. All I've done so far is create a figher and brought him to the top. I unlocked the lunging uppercut after defending the title once. Anyone know how to unlock more stuff?
Haven't gotten to that yet Aev, I just beat Norton to move into the 8th slot on medium difficulty so i still have a ways to go, however, my guy is already 31, so he's only got so many fights in him left. I'll probably need to start a third guy in order to finally ace all of the training sessions from the beginning of the career.
I was up until 2 playing it last night. I haven't done that w/ a game in over 4 years.
Kev, it's the left stick to move around the ring while the right stick is rotated or thrusted to throw specific punches. But it's slick because the motion for the different punches make combos logical. When the left shoulder is held, you bob and weave w/ the right stick, when the right shoulder is held, you block w/ the right stick.
