Hey Taly!

Game is...incredible, such a change from the EQ grind..it's dynamic as hell, always something to do, and the modified unreal engine makes for stunning graphics, and I love the anime style of the game.

I play a Dark Elf Wizard, and I'm badass.

My friend Reason (ex foh cleric) was Fiends also is in my Clan

Also, the only time this game EVER loads is when you start it, check out some screenshots..takes me around an hour to run from one side of the map to the other, and it's only beta map.

pretty badass in general.

I know Stragi ) was just saying it's a bit different than the EQ grind which I got accustomed to, at least in Lineage 2 if I die I can run and kill the nearest person I see to feel better, and for some reason kiting around is a bit more fun in L2.

But yeah, the Korean grind is hella.

Shrooms I play on Lionna also (4th Server) I'm Cekken ^^

You should join mah clan, we're 2nd on server atm. under the Chinese exploiters.

I don't really think you can get a feel for the game by only playing it to level 8.

The game is still fun for me at level 14.5!

It's been the same as EQ but with much better graphics and sound so far. The UI needs much work and level 20+ is needed to actually see what the game is all about after choosing skill paths and grouping.

Level 8 means nothing, same as level 8 in EQ.

I'm current level 23 and a Dark Wizard, I usually solo or take some clan members and go to the Execution grounds, great experience there and tis scary.

The game is great after 20 when you reclass, I can AE and reason is my cleric/windwalk(SoW in L2) and res bitch. Plus we have some nice fighter classes.

Trying to save 20k more SP atm so I can boost clan to level 2.

As a dwarf, I plan to be a Bounty Hunter when I hit 20, I am spoil/sweeping my way to riches.

To cut down on the travelling all you need to do is buy some Escape Scrolls which port you back to the nearest town. That's something you can't do in EQ which cuts down on travel time early on for both caster and melee and all the time for melee.

Do healers fight worth a damn?
Does HP Regen for Melee types take 30-45 minutes between fights?
Do casters die in 1 hit?
Can you cast while moving?

I'm a Wizard, yet I still have heals from level 14 spells and I can heal myself and others decently still, plus I have vampiric curse which leeches health and does the same damage as my Windstrike nuke.

Hp regen downtime is MAYBE 5 mins every 10 kills or so, but my clan just finds a newb to run around healing them for constant exp.

I find that I can solo for around 30 mins without running oom, then have a 5 min downtime.

As a caster I can tank and melee a mob from around 10% health to 0 and still keep fighting (just leech next mob to pull)

And no casting while moving.

The PK'ers kill the noobs in the lowbie areas, I dont see them causing grief in the teen areas.
