A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale has hit Mexico. Two million Mexicans have died and over a million are injured. The country is totally ruined and the government doesn't know where to start with providing help to rebuild.

The rest of the world is in shock.

Canada is sending troopers to help the Mexican army control the riots.

The European community (except France) is sending food and money.

The United States, not to be outdone, is sending two million replacement
Mexicans.

I get it. A country inhabited almost exclusively by immigrants finds it funny to deport slightly-more-recent immigrants. It's a satirical irony, designed to make us see the hypocricy of people who devalue human life and try to create racial seperation, when really they are more alike than they can bear to admit.

it made me laugh. i grew up in a town where 50% of my school was mexican kids. they told jokes like that all the time. its not meant to be racist its just a joke. one of my favorites that they used to tell was, why were there only 50 mexicans at the pary? because they only had 2 pick up trucks. some of you people need to lighten up

I agree, this coming from one of the most non-racist people around, there is nothing wrong with telling a "racist" joke or two. To be offended by a fucking racist joke only proves that your not comfortable or secure with your standing of another race hence you think that you will be a racist if you laugh, because you are trying suppress that inner discrimination you hold, because deep down in side, your nothing but a hypocritical bigot....well that’s just my view. On that note, here is a funny joke a BLACK friend of mine told me.

Lol, I see how you could take that like that, but theres really nothing wrong with a racist joke or 2, as long as you aren't aiming to hurt anyone with them. I mean, hell, when I was told that black joke, a black friend of mine was standing right beside me and just laughed at it. She knew it wasn't meant to be offensive to her, and that it was only meant as a JOKE and nothing more.

I've never found jokes like that to be funny, not even as a kid. It's simply stupid imho. Then again, I don't find a lot of the modern comedians funny either (like.. Dave Chapelle or whatever..).

When I was young I was exposed to a lot of racist jokes as well and I thought they were funny because the people I looked up to thought they were funny. Once your brain grows up a little you will realize that these jokes just aren't funny anymore.

The reason white people get so worked up about racist jokes is because we see that it is a double standard in society. If a white person tells a joke he is hung. If a black person tells a joke he is a riot. That is what I hate about racist jokes. It is not fair that society says that only white people can be racist. I personally think Jesse Jackson is one of the most racist people alive.

Religious jokes on the other hand are fair game.

Eh, I'll tell a joke regardless of color if I think its funny. It can be about a White person (which I am), Black person, Hispanic person, or Asian person, I don't care. That doesn't make me racist and my brain definately is developed enough to tell what is and isn't funny.

Anyway, the black joke and the mexican joke I have never really found funny myself, I just threw those in because they were 2 "racist" jokes that came to mind when I saw this thread. The Jew joke on the other hand I have always found hilarious
