Goth is alive in WV too.
Just saw a 3 person goth show walking through the mall last weekend.. including a teenage chick comming in at about 6'4" with more scratches on her arms than a the Cleveland Zoo's Animal Sex Therapist.

From what I can tell, the new trend is to look as slutty as possible. Bare midrifs are essential for girls, even if you're 5'1", 200 lbs. /shudder

The whole white trash chic thing that Brittney et al are doing. Meshback caps are fucking HUGE right now. But not the $5 ones that you see in the Piggly Wiggly. You need the $75 Von Dutch ones.

Bah I didnt have DSL for the last 9 days or so, missed out on this wonderful chit chat hehe.

Well the whole thing about the subculture is mainly how liberal people are. Frankly, if you feel like covering yourself in green jelly and running across town naked, while screaming "Im an oscar meyer weiner" no one will give a shit. People will most likely buy you beer.

Far as the bands I've listed, yeah, most of those are either synthpop, or industrial. Those genres are the most popular down at the clubs in the U.S. though.

What will it give you in the real world? Who gives a fuck, listening to DMX won't give you shit either, its all in preference.

My personal enjoyment, is the women in silk/vinyl ^_^
