PS2 Network Adapter
I have been considering buying this item. Most likely the only thing I would use it for would be Madden. I have heard that there are leagues going on all the time. Does anyone here participate in that? I am interested to know if I should bother.

At least half of the guys that come in and buy the network adapter at my store play th EA series. Madden, NBA Live and the new MVP baseball. A few more of the newer games will utilize the adapter to, so it's cool just to have.

It's inexpensive and free to use (unlike XBOX). I've been using it for Need for Speed Underground and like it. I haven't used it on Madden 2k4 yet since I suck at it so badly. 
But I've been specifically looking for games lately that use it when I go to buy one.. Just got Champs of Norrath last night and it plays online as well, so looking forward to trying that.
For the $30 or so, I'd say get it.
