Basically it was some moron who decided to make a post on how he thinks women shouldn't be gamers because we flood the game chat with words like "hun" and such, and that we belong in the kitchen.
Well, I truly do loathe the word "hun", I admit. Hon, is ok, when used by someone you KNOW and not some random person. But usually I find it's men trying to pretend to be women that use that shit more than women do.

I think that pretty much 98% of battlenet shouldn't be gamers because they are neglecting some pretty important schoolwork and social development. God, I just had a vision of what the world will be like in 30 years when the bnet kids are grown up and beginning to run the world; I fear for humanity.

I'm going to hold out for the LAN version of WoW so I don't have to play with the BNet jackasses or the people that think generalizing about the gameplay of all female gamers is serious or funny.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.
Most girls I played EQ with were more skilled, more dedicated, or both than I was.

Yeah, that was sarcasm derrived from my utter hatred of other people in MMOGs. Not my friends in MMOGs, but the 'other' people. You know who I'm talking about.

I use the word "hun/hunnie" when talking to my fiance. To me, "hon/honey" is the stuff you put on toast or used in your tea. Just my preference.
Hun makes me think of 2 things. Atilla the Hun, and a 300lbs, bee-hive red-haired waitress slinging food at a greasy spoon in the middle of Assfuck, Arkansas.
