Okay, people always say that stuff about Phantoms, what gives? They even made that reference in J&SB or one of the Kevin Smith movies. Is it a really bad movie and that's the joke, or was it actually a good cult hit or something?

Perhaps I should check it out at some point.

It was a pretty crappy movie(Phantoms) IMO, so I am pretty sure that is the general concensus since Affleck and Damon have quite a bit of self-mockery happening in 'Jay & Silent Bob'.

Sorry for the derailment... :/

I too thought Kill Bill 2 was for this month, but at least QT doesn't have us waiting in the Lucas way.... heh

Well that's because QT isn't ridiculusly obsessed with computer effects that take a decade to create. He's more obsessed with trivial things like style and acting abilities.

I've never seen Phantoms myself,.

Yeah they were direct quotes if I didn't butcher the one I did. I think they were making a joke how the guy in Phantom the movie (which kinda sucked imo) looked like Ben Affleck.

Edit: I completely missed the joke then because I always thought it was a reference to him looking like the guy in the movie Phantom not Phantom(s). Learn something every day!
