FFX replay question

Post by Pahreyia »

I just started up FFX again the other night and I wanted to ask if anyone's been able to get that thing from the dog's mouth in Besaid that powers up the first Aeon's overdrive prior to leaving for Luca. I got to the road to the pier before I had to go to sleep last night and when I ran back to the temple, the dog wasn't there. I had heard that it was available prior to leaving for Luca.

IIRC, you need to talk to the item store clerk, she'll talk about her dog digging something up, then you go talk to the dog, who is in another hut.

It's been a while, so I could be completely wrong.

You could also check out http://www.gamefaqs.com. They have some good guides there.

Thanks Masteen. I was using the Bradygames guide this time and my DSL at home is acting in true Verizon style (i.e. it's not) so I didn't have a chance to check gamefaqs.... should have thought of checking it at work tho. #-o

I'd like to play though it again, but I just couldn't go back to pre-Arena characters without break damage limit weapons.

It's tough having Tidus only doing 140 damage a swing... But it's strangely easier, plus much richer in lore (because I have all of the Al-Behd primers) I'm enjoying it.
