Called Hilton within 1 hour of your posting it and they said they are sold out of rooms for Apr 1st.

Thought we had a block of 500 rooms reserved for the event and they were to be released when the official announcement was made.

Hilton said they would look into it. Not sure on what the deal would be with all the rooms being sold out before the official announcement. Although the Hilton has been telling me for over 2 weeks they were sold out for that weekend.

Hilton only had 300 rooms for Thursday and they sold out. Stay at Ballys Thursday night like the rest of us!

Looks like it costs a little money to take the monorail ($3.00 a ride), but still cheaper than a taxi!

Does anyone know if Hilton provides shuttle type service from the airport to the hotel or vice versa?

I'm book for flight and hotel, I'll be at the Hilton from the 1st to the 4th

We took a shuttle service ($6/person?) that goes to most/all the hotels in the area, depending on who gets on the shuttle. It took a half hour to make the rounds to our hotel, but it was kinda cool driving around the strip, checking stuff out. If you want to get there quicker, a taxi will cost you around $20 (they are regulated as I recall so the amount from the airport to the Hilton is a set price---somewhere on the web is some info about the prices). It may be a good idea to find out when other folks are arriving the same day and split a taxi. I don't believe the Hilton has their own shuttle service.
