first guild
My first guild was Black Dragon Claw, joined at lvl 15. Many good memories of pwning newbie mobs. Joined Rune of War at lvl 55, and stayed with them until they broke up. I'm in Apparition now.

First guild
Wrecking Crew was the first and only guild I've been in, other than Fiends
We owned Chardok so hard!

Retired Officer of Fiends~

Crusaders of Virtue was my first guild, actually. March of 1999
I remember Sithe/Grimme, Rizelle, Graewulf, Alina, Elfwind .. there were many more but the names have long since eroded from my brain hehe.
Crusaders of Virtue began to crumble when most of it's members merged with OG and I can't remember the other guild to form CT.

first good guild was Unshakeable Kingdom then on to Sanctus Aemilius, disliked raid times in guild so joined Veeshans Legacy which soon fizzed out where i became guildess, Joined Sceptered Isle in February 2003 at level 56, Still there today and almost quadrupled my mana pool

My first guild was Fires of Heaven. I joined through Ragnarokk and Zamtil who I played with in beta daily, but I started EQ 2 months after release so most people were already 40- 50th. I ended up grouping with some of the lower level people in FoH, who were (in my opinion) responsible for a lot of the early guild-hating going on against the guild. Like that dick Methodd Mann (um 26 PAL at the time) who would go KS newbies just because it was fun.
I ended up de-guilding around lvl 30 because of members like Methodd, and his friends (can't remember any of their names), and ended up joining The Companions for a long stretch. I even got kicked out temporarily by Creediki one time
. Moved to United We Stand with Shanks and Edair, and then broke off with a group of people to co-found the original Legion (Jeebs, Dsma, Fengrush, Xalren, etc)...I had nothing to do with what the guild became after Luclin
Man those were the days
By the way, is anyone still in touch with people like Atlach, Rosethorn, Marxes, Togashi, or Pheten? If so PM me!

Re: first guild
Oh shoot.... who was the guild leader of Black Dragon Claw? I don't remember his name...I remember we both started the game at around the same time, and levelled up together in Crushbone, but then he took a break for a while or something, and I lapped him in levels by quite a bit. Ran into him several times later, and I remember him telling me he had started that guild, but I can't for the life of me remember his name...Blathe wrote:My first guild was Black Dragon Claw, joined at lvl 15. A lot of Travellers left to Saryrn at the first server split. My RL friend was in that guild before it left to Saryrn. Those who stayed ended up in various veeshan guilds. I know a few went to FoH.I'm surprised that I haven't seen a single person mention being in Travellers of Veeshan. When I started in '99 it seemed they were everywhere.. Anyone know anything about em'?

First guild was Feudal Lords with Ajran and Rikk(Rikk was the leader at the time). I still don't even remember how it disbanded but we all went to Lords of Rage afterwards...then Ixtlan around Level 52.
I eventually fell too far behind and retired about half a year later.

Rikk went missing for quite some time, So Asmo and Supp had us all disband and form LoR under them since the GM's wouldn't pass leadership to anyone else..TheDarkreigns wrote: I still don't even remember how it disbanded but we all went to Lords of Rage afterwards...then Ixtlan around Level 52.
By the time i ended up as the leader several months later OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of people that were originally in Feudal Lords never got tagged for LoR and moved on to bigger guilds.. Some only stayed a few weeks before deciding to move on.
Looking back If there was one thing different i could do in EQ it would have been to move on myself instead of spending a year or so trying to save something that probably should never have been formed in the first place.
Then again I never would have known my best friend in EQ "Impirius" for the year or so I did before he died.

Wow Ajran. I never knew Imp died.
He was a great great guy, I think he spent half his time dragging my dead cleric corpse around.

When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

Gods Among Men (20-45) was my first guild formed before I started playing by college friends. One night, we had about 15 people in a comp lab playing EQ, yelling and making fun of each other's death. Then the next day the old lady in the lab told the college pres and half the EQ'ers got kicked out and band from campus (they were not all students, but friends). They also started erasing the game from comps thinking they could stop us.. but it didnt.
Later joined Knights of Force (45-62) from the advice of Lombar Bainsblades (SK). Was a great time, but PoP did us in due to the larger/harder boss raids and mass recruiting by the larger guilds didnt help much either. I remembered a time with KoF had 8 wizards from 55-60 and a great Dwarf cleric (Shrep, Swanny, Tazan, Torbin) set up (along with others like Tiona, Digimortal, Angleyz and a few others) before PoP and we could really roll when things were going well for us.
Best time I had when playing EQ was with my KoF friends. I think I could still name at least 60 people I played with and can remember raids and groups I shared with them.
Later went unguilded for over a year. POP xp'd and didnt really get a chance to raid much. Looking back I wished I had done it differently and tried to help KoF stay together instead of maybe helping the break up. Sorry for that one guys.
Played with CD for a few months trying to get PoTime flagged and then wanted to get guild tagged. Saw all of PoP (except for time mobs). I did see the zone and its was the first expansion that I can say I have seen all the zones (and at least versions of the boss mobs except for Quarm).
Got deported to Iraq with the NC National Guard for a year in mid January... so no EQ for Nightops.
Never saw Veeshan's Peak, Sleepers Tomb, or VT. If your still playing, look for me to change that when I return to the game in Feb 05.

Swords of the Clan.
A guild of friends of mine who came from Gemstone III GMing who were a part of The Bloody Clans. Well, time moved on and they started inviting people who were not part of the RL TBC and changed the name. At the height, I think we had about 30 people in the guild. ROFL =p
I was a n00b then though!
So little has changed!
