Is what not true? That we have pig farms up here? Yes, there was a pig farm where they've been finding body parts at. Kind of old news.

Always be wary of a man with a pig farm. The pigs can go through bone like butter....

Instantly thought of Brick Top of Snatch when seeing this...

I'm not sure what is being barred. I think just about everyone knows about it, has been ongoing for quite some time. Every time I see a story the body count gets bigger. I do not know all the gruesome details tho, nothing more than the article you linked mentions really.
All posts are personal opinion.

Everytime I hear about bodies being discovered, I simply think "These people are amateurs". Mind you - I'm no serial killer myself ( or even casual killer :D I'm just a normal guy... with a geekish streak ), but I just happen to know pigs will eat pretty much anything... So to get rid of a body after a murder, just strip him/her, burn the clothes, bury the remains that don't burn and dump the corpse to pigs. Won't be anything left for cops to find.

of course not. the media has been covering it non-stop for about two years.

there is a gag order on the trial like there is on all capital criminal proceedings though. all big trials get gag orders up here because huge media blitzes taint juries beyond the capacity for a person to receive a fair trial.

fox news just likes being sensational about it because their core audience is absolutely convinced that every other country other than the united states are communists who want to blow up america because they are they only country that is truly free.

I can't believe how utterly out of context those quotes are. it's pretty sad that most you people in the US don't even really know what actual journalism is. it's shocking what passes for news down there. fox is certainly the worst of the mainstream though.

Oh, totally.

Fox news is beyond crap. I can't even begin to tell you how little I think of them as an agency. These days I get most of my news from BBC, Ha'aretz, Reuters, and occasionally CNN. Metafilter also turns up some very interesting news finds from time to time, especially if you read the discussions and MetaTalk.

That said, and as much as I as I dislike the man and the network that sponsors him, Bill O'Reilly has been known to surprise the hell out of me at times. For instance, when he told a catholic bishop on the show who was leading some sort of opposition to gay marriage in Mass. that he thought they were wrong and that gays had every right to the same marriage benefits as anybody else, and that calling it anything but marriage was a cop-out.

As much distasteful, virulent, extreme right-wing blather as I have heard from the man, you could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard him say that... I think you could say the same for the bishop, who just stared at him sorta roggle-mouthed while they cut to commercial.

well a lot of people pigeonhole o'reilly as a hard right conservative because he is a fat loudmouthed asshole who lives in a fantasy land where everyone in the world has rich parents, so he fits the mold perfectly. he's pretty libertarian though when you get to know a lot of his views.

I actually find myself agreeing with him more often than I'm comfortable with, but he is such an arrogant bully who is wrong so often and can't hold a debate with anyone that I can't really respect him too much.

Kyoukan hit it pretty accurately: He's not an ignorant, party line conservative. He's just an ignorant bully with little to no actual expertise or credibility.
