My guild has a bigger penix than yours

Isn't it awfully nice to have a penis,
Isn't it frightfully good to have a dong.
It's swell to have a stiffy,
It's divine to own a dick.
From the tiniest little tadger,
To the world's biggest prick.
So three cheers for your willy or John Thomas.
Hooray for your one-eyed trouser snake.
Your piece of pork,
Your wife's best friend,
Your Percy or your cock.
You can wrap it up in ribbons,
You can slip it in your sock.
But don't take it out in public
Or they will stick you in the dock,
And you won't come back.

Actually fuckstick, I did help get a lot of people in your current fucking guild their Emp keys. I didn't ask for any single piece of that fucking key and still put in a shit ton of hours to get other people theirs. I can assure you that it burned my ass every time people wanted to run to Ssra when flag mobs were up in PoP. And yes....if I was in a guild that wanted to be competitive in the least and was not able to get into Time and be able to equip the guild before GoD came out, I would push them towards the new content if I thought it was possible for them to succeed. They sure as hell have not removed VT to my knowledge...and I don't think they are going to. So if people had been a little smarter, they could have had success in PoP and gone back for VT now when it may not be packed by the 3-4 guilds that were murdering it within 8 seconds of it popping.Karae wrote:As for your original statement, Kilmoll, you are wrong is saying that it was/is a waste of time. It is correct to say that it isn't necessary but it is helpful and worthwhile to do. But in any event, if you were actually playing and in an active guild you'd just be bitching about how time won't be necessary for GoD at this point. That's the type of person you are, a whining, slackass, bitch.
Wait, you mean I have to HELP CAMP EMP KEYS TO GET MINE? /guildremove Kilmoll
Need I mention that after all the bullshit and bitching about how much VT was needed...and all the key farming and shard camps etc....the Emp was seen up and untaken ONCE in 2 months? Now are you actually trying to tell me that 15-20 hours of camping bullshit per member was worth getting a one time shot at the Emp to get VT loot that was mostly obsoleted or had equivalents in the expansion that was already out? Are you that incredibly stupid to even argue this point with me?
Actually, you didn't help. Refusing to come to raids and guildremoving due to our choice of targets is never a help. Actually, if we had done the emp and got in VT the influx of loot probably would have lured the people who were members and didnt play back to playing. People that went against DKP never helped either. Actually, I don't really care anymore because CD is just as fun as CT ever was with about 1% of the bullshit. And most of that bullshit gets sent to Kithal now
. Yes there's been another incident. That is all.

I don't recall much discussion about DKP in CT. In retrospect, DKP would have been a huge help for CT as large as it was. I don't think it was fully understood back then or as easy to track. The present DKP system in Sovereign works well.

Ha. I didn't want to be the one to say it. Since I'm a nice lizard. But that's a fairly accurate summary.Jugata wrote:Actually, you didn't help. Refusing to come to raids and guildremoving due to our choice of targets is never a help.
I wont say Kil never did bane/key camps since I honestly don't remember (or care at this point), but if so it was only in the beginning. And what's even funnier is most of the complaints were coming even after we had 90%+ of the guild Emp keyed. We were also doing PoP at the same time so hitting VT once a week, assuming we even won the race, shouldn't have been such a huge issue like it ended up being.
But yeah, don't care either at this point! But don't make it sound like you were supporting the guild in the direction is was being taken. You didn't like Ssra and VT and made it quite clear.

Inaccurate. Actually helped camp several shards for people out in Maidens when I was 2 boxing a cleric for exp. Also was in Ssra up until the last month or so when the voting started. Short memories...whatever.Aslanna wrote: I wont say Kil never did bane/key camps since I honestly don't remember (or care at this point), but if so it was only in the beginning.
Now it would not have been such an issue except for one minor point. 75 people showed up to Ssra. 30 showed up to PoP. My point being....that loot whores wanted to backfarm rather than face a challenge that didn't have a billion spoilers posted.Aslanna wrote:We were also doing PoP at the same time so hitting VT once a week, assuming we even won the race, shouldn't have been such a huge issue like it ended up being.
I am sure Thess can confirm that I made my intentions clear that I was heading out due to guild direction. I sent her the PM spelling out exactly what would happen if Ssra was scheduled for one night and then a PoP flag mob the next. You all made it clear and I left that night. Two weeks later every officer left. I guess I was not the only officer who didn't like the direction it was heading. But yeah, don't care either at this point! edit: removed some nastiness
I can't speak with any authority as to what happened in Luclin after I retired, but I can say that during my tenure in CT, Kilmoll was one of the members most likely to go the extra mile. I remember him helping to camp VP keys, switching characters when the guild needed it, showing up on time (or, if not on time, exactly when he said he would), showing up for countless failed Vox/Nagafen/Trakanon raids, and generally helping to make CT into the force that it briefly was. If I needed a small force to get something important done, Kilmoll would receive one of my first messages. There were plenty of lazy, slacking pieces of EQ trash in CT, and it sounds like that eventually caused the guild's downfall, but Kilmoll was not one of them during my tenure.
Now I'd also like to point out that Aslanna, Teurde, and the rest of that group were also excellent members, and comprised a key part of the guild.
But I did sometimes hear complaints from many and varied members of the newfs and the surrounding crowd regarding guild direction, participation, loot, whatever- the same things that Kilmoll is being accused of here. No one is innocent of that sort of behavior. I cannot think of a single CT member who played consistently throughout most of the existence of the guild and never created an issue of that sort. Maybe Sarcon. I certainly created my share of problems too.
I know that Kilmoll did leave and come back at least once and maybe more, but I also know that a good portion of the guild (self included) did that at least once, or took a protracted-break-of-protest, or refused to attend certain events, or refused to do the dirty work in zones like VP or ToV, and so forth. I also know that many of his protests (and at least one of his quittings) was due to the poor behavior of the guild (ie, we steamrolled someone). That's certainly a cause that someone like Karae should be sympathetic too, considering that probably he (and definitely his friends) bitched up a storm over our steamrolling when it was going on.
Basically, what I'm saying is that Kilmoll created a whole hell of a lot more good than bad for the guild, and I'm glad that I played with him.

VT is definetely good for a guild with shit gear. It gets people equipped quickly.
However, that's assuming there are only a few guilds working towards VT at the time. I can't possibly imagine how things would work with all these guilds currently in VT. With so many guilds it is probably better to work towards farming BoT lords and SolRo stuff if u can.

My guild has no penis.
Thankfully it has 9 superfluous nipples, one placed strategically behind the left ear where it's easy to play with without anyone noticing.
My guild also has an extra spleen, but only one nostril.

Kilmoll was also one of the few that would very loudly protest over some of those incidents where others would remain quiet. If you ever get past his angry exterior and years of eq-related resentment he is a cool guy. Remember the good Kilmoll, there was plenty of it, forget the bad stuff.
CT suffered from loot issues and a heavy load placed on the hardcore members. Going from CT which was ~30% hardcore carrying the rest to a guild like CD where ~70%+ is hardcore the game is much more enjoyable. Then add in DKP which pretty much eliminates loot issues.

Don't underestimate Forthe's sneakiness! Forthe, a.k.a. I don't really see why you have to choose VT or PoP?
We have fully flagged for eles, while working on keying in our freetime. When everyone in your guild works together, it can be easy. But you have to be willing to play nice with other guilds, and help your members that don't play as much, or not at all besides raids (while never violating SoE's account sharing policies
).
True we only had 55 members to key/flag, and a descent bit of backflaggers to choose from. The point is, kill what you can, when you can that gives your guild an upgrade.
LDoN gear can make-up for not doing VT imo. Ornate howerver sucks in comparison. With LDoN, Sol Ro Minis and Elemental Minis I the need for VT is low. However the sure loots per hour still make it a tasty choice..

Brenen, your guild epitomizes the kind of people that can progress without VT. You've got a great crew and have really benefitted from that. But I think you've also got a rather unique group of people. I really believe that most guilds will have a problem going through PoP without VT. As easy as VT is to get these days, plus having to learn to mobilize quickly and do something right the first time is great training for guilds. The loot that you can get in a full clearing of VT also gets guilds equipped in very short order.brenen wrote:I don't really see why you have to choose VT or PoP?

The creep through VT sucks. But it's the same with some of the PoP encounters. Grummus, Bertox, Saryrn, RZtW, Sol Ro Tower, Veg Ring, PoAir all follow the same basic clearings. You can teach people to run in to a mob and beat it down, but if you really want to be successful, your people have to be able to keep that kind of focus after doing 2 hours of mind-numbingly boring clearing to get there.
RZ event isn't that bad. You can do a whole raid in 45 minutes if you know what you're doing. You only need to kill like 20 mobs total, not including the Zeks. THere's really not much creep required.
Half of those others you can be to your target in 20 minutes or less. Surely that's not as bad as killing a mob for 20 minutes and moving 10 more feet to do it again. (Or so I hear. I've never actually been on a VT raid. Only popped in to put key on keyring).

How did this turn from a penix joust into a fucking CT memories schmaltz fest?
