Just bought this game the other day, been meaning to for a long time.
Im sorted with the whole Battle thing. But Im so stuck on the campaign,
can anyone explain, or point me to a good guide (the in game one isnt showing me) How the fuck you raid, as the vikings.
How I actually make money as opposed to becoming more in debt than I am in real life.
cheers

Vikings
Havent actually tried the vikings yet to see how they differ (if at all) from anyone else, but if I had to guess I would say the raiding thing is just them going places, beating the defending army, getting the loot message for winning, then running off somewhere else and doing it again, rather than trying to actually retain control of the province. And if youre being viking-like then burn down (scrap) a few surviving buildings before you go too.
Money- The secret to huge gobs of cash is sea trade. Build merchants in every coastal province, and a dock, and put ships in every ocean area you can possibly get to. Bingo- cash! That means you will have to watch your income vs permanent expenses (army size) closely early on to make sure you always keep enough extra cash coming in to build needed improvements. I wouldnt recommend dropping below 500 gold a turn after expenses often if you can help it. A note on sea trade- always have a few extra ships lying around so you can fill in empty sea areas if you lose one in a storm or something. Plus of course you have to have a large enough fleet that you can win the war at sea if someone declares war on you. Losing your trade routes from either cause for an extended period of time is usually bad news, although it will unavoidably happen briefly from time to time
