The large crater to the right looks like it will provide a great target for the rover to explore after it's done sampling the soil and rock outcrop in the mini crater it settled into.
WTF is in the bottom of that crater? Looks interesting with those two uniform lines. (the black dot to left of the large crater is the shadow of the parachute during descent.)

actually Bush wants to go to the Moon before China does so they don't take over the moon. fucking commies.
also we are going to mine heavy Helium isotopes there and use that for nuclear fusion. This will be a very low cost fuel that will only be like one bazillion dollars per microliter once you factor in the transport fee ;p
