Witty, insightful and true. That's why people don't make fun of me every time I post. Plus, proper use of written english goes a long way as well.

Droggy's not swedish!

I am currently of the "I'm still deciding" standpoint of going to the Fan Faire this year. But something tells me that if I go, I may be the only sober one there. I'll make sure to bring my camera so I can take lots of blackmailing pics (JK!!!) 8). (No, it's not that I'm under 21, it's that I don't drink much!)

Yes, Pyr and Lali, if I come, the cookies will come with (even if I don't, they'll be sent to someone to bring with). Cookies and brownies are on my baking list this year 8). Make requests if you like, but I make no promises!

BTW, is the $134 for the hotel per person or per room?

Yay Kadie! And we didn't *steal* the whole bag, Sarge kinda left it at the table, we took it back to our room for safekeeping, but unfortunately didn't meet up with him again before we left.

And the price is for the room..usually covers 2-4 people in most cases. Whatever you do, don't tell them you plan on having eleventy billion people share it with you!

If it was March i'd register now, but with this happening in April the chance of me staying in the US to go to it have diminished greatly :(

I don't want to miss the FF. But if I get the job back home in Aussie I will be asked that I return promptly to start, since i've been here since November already.

Kadie, iirc that $134 is for 1 room up to two people I believe. Each person after that will be an additional x amount of dollars. There are obvious ways around this additional charge however.

So I was thinkin', we got any special "treats" planned for Saiphos yet? At the very least, he needs the crown to go with his VV title.

I'll definitely have one or two special "treats" for him at Fan Faire.

Hehe, my friends make fun of me for going to the "nerd convention" and they were giving me shit about going to the star trek bar. I was like "it's at a different place this year, we won't be at the star trek bar!!!"

Oh, well, screw them. They're just jealous. Quark's is the shit, I wish I had some dry ice at home so I could make a Warp Core to tide me over until april.

no bullshit, is the Warp Core Breach a chick drink or not?

i'm just skeptical that the dry ice is a gimmick to make you forget you just paid $10 for a drink w/o enough hooch in it.

Warp Core Breach is a fishbowl (large) sized rum drunk that if you drink 1, you're good to go for a while.
Generally they are shared, much like the James Tea Kirk, but the amount of alcohol you will most likely imbue will be enough to kill a small etheopian village.

Kinda bummed, i was excited about the Rio. But the Hilton works^^

From what I can remember, which is little, it packed a punch. I'm a big alcoholic, and it gets my seal of approval.

Oh no - that IS a crime! Will have to remedy that asap.

On a side note - is there any way that you can convince quarks to either stay open later, get more wait staff while we are there, all of the above, etc? :D

James Tea Kirk's are not for sharing!! They are reserved for me to hog. (Two of these before the saturday dinner had me nice and toasted)

Last year when Sylvos and I got in on Wednesday night, we had 30 minutes til closing time at Quarks to chug a Warp Core (Thess and Rianna were on their 2nd or 3rd and were might happy company!!) - It went right to our heads. Warp cores are good times!!

IIRC the Warp Core Breach was 5 different rums, and a splash of fruit punch. A nice deep red color.

the James Tea Kirk was your basic Long Island, a funny blue color.

You can order them in individual servings...but who the fuck wants to do that.

While you're at it Vannoth, please see if you can get Quarks to have more than say... 10 of the giant fishbowls on hand at any given moment.

Already on it.

I'm also working on seeing if we can have those served during the dinners, not just in quarks.

Contract is being routed for approval to the executives. Should be buttoned up by the end of the week.

I'm going to notify them to have more fishbowls on hand. :D

iirc, last year there were a couple variations of the "secret password", but in the end you just needed to communicate to them that you were there for the "Sony" "Everquest" "Fan Fair" and they knew what you were talking about and would hook you up accordingly. I'm not sure which of those words was the right one, but it was enough.
