He definitely goes through the emotional highs and lows of a coke abuser. It's rare that I've ever seen a straight person be able to build themselves up into such a fucking fervor like that. It could be that he is just a rich brat from a long line of rich brats used to getting their own way. He has a pretty legendary temper.

I love that monster face that he makes where he kind of peels his lips back and his teeth protrude out like the creature in the first alien movie.

I can't trust a guy that has no lips. It just looks plain weird. But yea, when he ran through the states last night it was funny. ""We're not giving up in Nebraska, Oregon, California, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia!.....and I told my wife, we're gonna take Nebraska, Oregon, California, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia!.....Did I say how much I like the states of Nebraska, Oregon, California, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia!""

I was like is this guy losing it?

I really thought when I was hearing this clip that it was a WWF Wrestler. The guy sounded insane, I can't wait to actually watch the clip.

I was mostly distracted by his obvious reading of a state list while trying to maintain a fervor.

I think it was plainly meant to show confidence and prop up his supporters who must have been disappointed but it came across weird.

I don't know what the fuck Dean was thinking with the whole proffessional wrestler scream-a-thon. That is a great way to turn people OFF of him. Now Kerry had some great lines in his speech, brought a uplifting feeling when I heard it. Still I was hoping for more than just a sentence or two on the environment, but I think environmental issues are ranked pretty low on voters' lists these days.

Atleast we have a candidate that conservatives can't do their signature "he's a draft-dodging hippy" buillshit. What does Kerry have, a purple heart(two?), a silver star, a bronze star, and a medal of valor? Like to see Bush bullshit around that with his desk job his father got him during vietnam.

Kerry=very good, charismatic speaker, Bush=worst speaker in the history of US presidents. Should have some fun debates.

Kerry seems to be coming into his own more and more. I think firing his old campaign manager was a good idea.

I saw him on Leno a few months ago and almost puked at how phony he was coming off as. It's good to see him come off as more genuine now because he has a lot of electable qualities (except I still think he looks like a robot that was built to look like a human). I don't think he can beat Bush in an election though.

Bush has already beat the record for fund raising for his re-election and it's not even February. He's going to have over 200 million by election time where the democrats will probably be spending more like 75 million. This is what happens when all your president does is fund raise and go on vacations.

I'm inclined to give Dean a break. He was just in the moment and was all charged up.

I don't think his momentary burst of emotion should be held against him.

Dean's outburst doesnt change how I feel about Dean, but a lot of Americans are swayed by little stupid things like this and that will effect how they vote. I do not think it was good for him.

Heh, I agree. That was rediculous. Kerry wasn't one of my top fav's for Dem. candidate. Kucinich was my pick and he really doesn't have a chance anyway cause he is 'too liberal' and doesn't bullshit just to say what the majority wants to hear.

Also, yeah, It is going to be damn hard to beat Bush, but I like to keep some hope up and give what energy I can to whichever Democrat goes up against him. Beating Bush is extremely important to me. I do not think I can bear living in this country for 4 more years under his dictatorship.

Perhaps hand written invitations to leave will be mailed after the dems fail to beat Bush. Never have I seen a more sad group of candidates put forth by the Democratic Party.

Dean is a leftist fringe lunatic. I think the only thing he snorts is powdered Ritalin followed by L-Dopa chasers. He continues to make ridiculous statements, apologize for those statements the very next day...and yell and scream. The only thing he has done is rally the Bush haters...they are not so much for Howard Dean as they are for getting Bush out of office.

Kerry is hoping his record as a war hero carries him through. He even made a comment yesterday that was to the affect of *When I came home from the Vietnam war in 1969 I am not even sure if he (Edwards) was out of diapers yet*. Granted, he did some great things during what he called "Nixon's War" (he needs to study history a bit more)...but he isn't going to get in the White House on what he did over 30 years ago.

Edwards really was the surprise. He too is far to the left...his voting record mirrors Ted Kennedy's. However he has charisma, nice hair, and that gentle southern lilt...which will endear a lot of people to him.

Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean (news - web sites) turned to late-night comedy Thursday to poke fun at his arm-waving outburst in Iowa that has proven politically damaging. Dean taped an appearance on "Late Night with David Letterman" in which he presented the Top 10 list. The last Democrat to deliver the list was Rep. Dick Gephardt (news - web sites) of Missouri on Jan. 12. After a poor showing in Iowa Monday, Gephardt abandoned his presidential bid.

The subject of Dean's list was "Ways, I, Howard Dean, can turn things around."

___

10. Switch to decaf.

9. Unveil new slogan, "Vote for Dean and get one dollar off your next purchase at Blimpie."

8. Marry Rachel on the final episode of "Friends."

7. Don't change a thing, it's going great.

6. Show a little more skin.

5. Go on "American Idol" and give them a taste of those pipes.

4. Start working out and speaking with an Austrian accent.

3. I can't give specifics yet, but it involves Ted Danson.

2. Fire the staffer who suggested I do this lousy Top 10 List instead of actually campaigning.

1. Oh, I don't know — maybe fewer, crazy, red-faced rants
