Toontown has been up for the past 3 or 4 months. I've been playing it a few times a week.

1.0.13 (buggy old version) has been up

1.0.26 beta 2 is about to go live.

It doesn't look like our characters will transfer although I can't tell for sure. So much for maxed Toon ups, Throws, and almost maxed everything else if that's the case.

No wipe. Up until yesterday, you could still log onto 1.0.13 server with your old characters. It looks like beta 2 will start fresh though.

If you want the best info on ToonTown go to this site. People there have been playing toontown since it went down for everyone else back in January.

I'm back in. When I emailed my complaint and about how I was in beta1. Then they emailed me back hours later with my new account info.

I play on the red server. I'm "Aqua Duck" until Mr. Shortbus passes their review for names.

Beta 2 fairly, sucks.... I've been part of it now for about a week and well, between the dumps to Desktop and the LD's it's the same as beta 1. My biggest complaint, they are using TCP instead of UDP... They better change this fast before they finish the coding or it will be AO all over again.

Beta2 has plenty of bugs but is still fun (it's a beta!)

I don't like the gag track thing and jelly bean tasks are useless. The little health dots on the cogs are nice for newbs but any vet TT'er knows what it takes to kill level cog being attacked.

It's nice that they have the toontalker. I can imagine some disgruntled ex-EQer screaming at a 7 year old kid they're grouped with..."Use AE damn it! Use your Foghorn! Toon up! Toon up! Don't break the lure on that Doubletalker!" ...poor kid just wanted to drop a flower pot on a cog and then go play nintendo.

Anyone get past 35 laugh points yet?

Well, most bugs and dumps are fixed now after the latest update.

Now it works smooth.

I have almost 50 Laff points at the moment and the Quests for Jellybeans are ok, since i can carry 80 beans now! )

So instead of doing trolleys all the time you get bashed, just walk to the Gag shop and buy to save time.
