Freaking flu...

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Temperature in this area keeps bouncing from 20 to 60, so my sinuses are making me feel like I'm on a nasal yo-yo.

/whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine

Between me and Melekor being sick, I think we'll run out of trashbags soon to put the tissues in. Everybody at work is sick. And it keeps bouncing. So I feel ok one day, then back to misery the next, more new stinky cooties. Why do people come to work sick, wankers!

Oooo and antihistamines work like magic in putting me completly out so can't use those. Just shoot me please...

Seriously.

This flu strain has to be nation wide. this is what happened at my work, friends, family and about everyone I talk to including myself has had lately in California. The shit lingers for about two to three weeks. And to top that off one day i felt better and the next it came back in a different incarnation...for two weeks! I am glad now that it seems to be finally over, except it is recycling around the office! The funny thing is too, my work was trying to get us all the flu shot and kept cancelling because of the shortage.

And to answer the other question! People come into work because management(which includes myself hehe) insists on production no matter what! at least in the corporate world..you come in and produce or it effects your career! or I would have taken my sick bank(which I dont even know why they give it to me, because I can never call in sick!)

Had gum in my pubic area after receiving fellatio from some drunk OBU sorority chick in 1986.

Had a bald spot for three months. Worth every second.

It was Bubble Yum.

i've been really sick the last few days. started out with some regular cramping in my abdomen.. then i developed the shivers and started to feel really cold... all the while my temp has gone up to 101 degrees. I'm cold as hell, my head hurts, i'm shivering all over and my body is super sore. walking up and down the stairs is a chore and I feel like i'm going to faint if I wake up. Meanwhile, i go to bed with 3 blankets on me, sweating like a dog, but still freezing my ass off.

I actually called in yesterday, to sleep it off and hopefully feel better. I wake up this morning with a 102 temp, actually haul my ass out of bed and make it in to work (i work for 2 inconsiderate bitches who don't give a fuck if we're sick... we have to be dying for us to not get written up for calling in sick). I beg them to go home and they finally relent, so I've been home since 8:00am (i start at 6:00a). Well, my temp has gone down and my head doesn't feel like it's going to explode anymore, and I'm starting to warm up, but my body still aches really bad :(

I HATE MY BOSSES. They're actually making me try and get a doctor's note, even though I came in to work today!!! Do you know how hard it is to see a doc the same day you are sick? impossible!

/rant off

While at work with the 102 temperature, I would have made sure to cough and sneeze and wipe boogery hands all over my bosses phones, if I were you. Get them sick and laugh in glee when they feel like ass. At the very least they will feel bad, and if they call in sick, hypocritical that it would be, at least you'd have a day away from them.

I went through the fever sickness over christmas - fever breaking 103, freezing, even though sweating, it really owns having to change your pajamas 4 times a day cause you keep saturating them with sweat! Lasted 3 days. Happy Christmas! I still have a lingering cough.
