There aren't too many foods I don't like. I'll eat the ones I don't care for (like cottage cheese) when I'm hungry and don't feel like going to the store.

*Edit - I take that back, I'll generally go hungry for an extra couple hours or skip lunch rather than eat fast food. That's some truly nasty shit, and really unhealthy.

Skunki's mouthfull of bacon bits and A1 is the only one that's struck me as odd so far

My grandfather showed me the greatest dessert ever when I was younger.

Peanut butter. about a tablespoon of butter, and syrup...mix well.

To add to the graham cracker thing. Living in the dorm i would get a bowl of golden graham cereal, and mix it with soft serve vanilla ice cream.

The Mac n Cheese bit. I've done about a billion combinations, but one that is promising, is 1 box kraft mac n cheese, 1 can chili, chopped hot dogs, maybe 1/4 cup of ketchup, and just whatever else you find and feel like throwing in. I like to call it Voodoo Chili after hendrix, though I don't think it's ever been made the same twice.

Take 2 eggos and toast them, spread peanut butter on one side of each while still hot, stick them together and put syrup over the top. When you eat them the peanut butter will have gotten very warm and will ooze out. Much yum.

I used to (and still would) eat spaghettios straight out of the can, uncooked.

I'm sure there's more...I can't think of any of the other bizarre ones atm.

Kraft mac & cheese is the king of processed food products. I would not have gotten through college if not for that and ramen noodles. And beer.

While I like Velveeta for some applications, like making sleazy queso dip, Velveeta shells and cheese is vile.

I don't have anything extraordinarily weird I eat on a regular basis, but I guess one food-related quirk I have about me is that I spend a lot of time trying to find a bag of P.B. Crisps.

Most of you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but about 5 years ago or so Planters was manufacturing a peanut butter filled graham cracker product that was without a doubt the best snack I've ever had. For some reason, I stopped seeing them about six short months after I had started seeing them on the shelves, but by then I was already hooked. I thought it would pass, but it hasn't. I love them like I have loved no other snack food in my life, and I have this unyeilding suspicion that somewhere out there, they are still in production. So please, if you see a bright orange resealable bag with peanut butter graham crackers on them being sold anywhere, shoot me a PM. I would really appreciate it.

p.s. not to be confused with planters new line of "nut poppers"... I have tried them and they aren't even the same ballpark as pb crisps.

Ohhh, I put this stuff on just about everything...

In college, I used to use it as sauce for Ramen noodles. Now, it goes in everything due to the yummy garlic goodness.

You shitting me? I lived in cali for 16 years and after that six months I didn't see them anywhere. I will look for them when I head to orange county for spring break. I certainly haven't seen them at any ralphs/luckys/albertsons there, but I will continue my quest.

Canalek, that shit is the bomb. It comes in with a close second on ketchup. In fact, sometimes I just mix the two on everything. I think on any type of red sauce with pasta I throw in that hot sauce and/or ketchup. Mmm... I think I'll go eat some Vietnamese noodle soup tonight.

Barbeque Pork Rinds... for decades I've probably picked up a bag of these every few months and always feel guilty after devouring the whole bag in one sitting.

I have a friend who grew up on a farm that eats all sorts of vile and repelling foods (much the same as some of you... kimchi.. omg.../barf) and even he's like "You eat THOSE? Good Lord, that's sick."

With the low carbs though, I think they are making a comeback due to the Adkin's Diet.

Hey, if you ever see Planters' P.B. Crisps in a store near you, fire me off a bag. I'll reimburse you and maybe even pay you a healthy "finders' fee" of a quarter or two. Or none.

I used to love those things and I have a sneaking suspicion they are still made. I'd look for them myself but it took me thirty God-damned minutes to find fucking pudding the other day at the grocery store. There's no way I am going to find a food that I can't even successfully put into a 'food category' without dying of starvation first. (Only cretins ever open and eat food, even if they're going to pay for it, in a food store. Cretins.)

Seriously, if you know what the fuck I am talking about (the P.B. Crisps, at this point), what do you call those things? Candy? Cookies? Fruit and Cake? Damn those things were tasty. I can hear the commercial for them in my head--it haunts my dreams just like the Iranian Conjoined Twins do. Say what you will about the now-passed away twins, THEY WERE FUCKING SCARY AS SHIT. Good lord. I can't even take a shower without having a heart attack from thinking they might be lurking, in conjoined ghost form, right outside my shower curtain...watching....and waiting....TO DEVOUR MY VERY SOUL. And body, as well. Fuck, if I'm eating someone's soul, I might as well eat their body too. Seems like a waste not to. A WASTE OF TASTY DELICIOUS BLOOD.

But not quite as tasty as P.B. Crisps.

My sick craving has always been pickled sausages. They come in a little jar full of cloudy liquid. When you shake the jar it looks like someone grunted into a snow globe.

The taste is like a sour vienna sausage, and the consistency is like a slim-jim. You have to watch when you buy them because grocers like to keep them on the shelf WAY after they expire. I was half way through a jar on time when I noticed they had been expired for over 6 months. They were a bit tough, but tasted the same!

But when it's a week past grocery shopping time and I'm scavanging, you can come up with some pretty creative meals....

As for corn in your mashed potatoes...I used to mix the corn, stuffing, potatoes and sometimes noodles together.

Oh that's something you guys probably don't know about that is good....Gooey homemade noodles in chicken gravy over your mashed potatoes...Mmmm. Seriously, it's good....it's a family specialty every thanksgiving. I think it comes from Ireland.

ah you are indeed correct - shortening made into frosting - that is a whole different animal - I can eat that stuff all day - scraping it off cakes etc - my second fav donut is the vanilla kreme filled and I imagine that is like shortening, vanilla and sugar in there
