That's crap. They don't have the high gain antenna deployed yet. The resolution will be 10 X's what you see when the fast data transfers crank up in the next day or so.

I was watching the NASA channel last night as the first data arrived and pictures were released.

Yeah its the UHF crap 256X256ish...High Gain = full colour panoramic stereoptic mosaics....but watching as those photos came down the first moment was a huge rush even watching remotely...Flawless landing, then watching as those were put up on the displays in Mission Engineering...What a rush it must have been for those that have worked so long on this...
