Has been overtaken by Yantis inc. The new (old) url is

http://pub140.ezboard.com/beqbeastlord

I believe he has also purchased Monkly Business but I don't know where or if they are relocating.

Yantis took over Monkly Business months ago.

I wonder how long it'll be before he takes over server boards.

He took over Luclin's board, but the users created a new board after he shelled out the cash.

What's the scoop with Yantis? Trying to corner the market on EQ message boards?

Yantis just scooped up EQDruids.com as well.

Kinda funny, they have the name "Yantis" censored on their forums and now he owns 'em.

The only thing I found more funny then Yantis buying the BST board, is a post about BSTs wanting a snare AA or spell.

Never played the class, long as they mash that mana AA every so often I am a happy camper.

Looked to me like a few of them were looking for something else, other then Hobble.

I do not see how snare in any form would suck.

Its a nice pet proc, wish I had one.

So your pet loses a few DPS, but it is not a whole lot lost. It is pretty nice if you can use it to kite or get out of a bind. Not saying use it all the time but in soloing you should be happy to have it. Pet DPS is not the only thing that should be counted when soloing. Unless you are playing pet cleric, in which case with slow and heals that have better ratios then clerics, you should have NP keeping up with the extra heal needed or such. And a few DPS lost at the cost of no runners/easy escape from a bad situation seems pretty damn good to me.

I love it when people have no clue what they are talking about, yet insist on telling someone who knows thier paticular class like a glove why they should not be complaining, asking for something, or better yet, telling them what to do in a group.

Nilaman, leave the BL class balance dicsussions up to the BLs.

Eh, never playing one does not mean I do not talk to them aye?

Unless you have something else to add to my statement then do not post. What I said was what I gathered from other beastlords and that was my take on it. Your statement, on the other hand, was worthless.

Thanks man! I think things are under control now. Im purchasing a new domain name this weekend. I dont want to say what it is until its registered :)

The site is really taking off. In less then 36 hours I have 300 subscribers and responses from Sony/Alan Vanouvering supporting it. Im pleased.

For now the link is http://beastlords.demonshouse.net <-- shameless plug.

A few mods from the old board could use a huge attitude adjustment. Some of the most arrogant mods I've ever seen in action... though they claim to be very supportive of the community in general, they are incredibly selfish and insecure. (Not to mention their sigs are 500 x 300 in dimension).

Reminds me of the 'new mods' of the old eqvault forums.

Oh yeah I saw him on playerauctions once. He was selling like a trillion plat across all servers in small amounts from like 10k to 1,000,000. Where does he get all that platinum, does he dupe it?

there was a bug recently that allowed someone to do a 2sp conbine and get like 3pp back from it... I believe it was a smithing combine... That's where a lot of the influx of plat has been coming from lately. I'm sure yantis was all over that one.
